That is a great question! I also struggled with this. Some times I stop. Sometimes I drive by. Sometimes when I drive by I feel convicted. Then sometimes I go back. Sometimes I drive by and feel no conviction. I think you have to use listen to the holy spirit. Consider your safety their saftey. Consider the location. Consider the time of day. Consider who needs help, is it three guys or a mom and child? Consider who is in the car with you. I usually do not stop with my wife in the car. Although with her in the car, I once stopped and gave a women a ride home. I witnesses to her the whole time. I can say that one of my biggest regrets is not stopping for someone about 15 years ago. I felt like I didn't have time and drove by. I felt great conviction and did not go back. I think you need to listen to the holy spirit and be carefull. Now a days you can always use a cell phone to call for help without stopping. Peace hope this help. |

If the bible is the W.O.G. then why would paul have to say in 1 cor 7:10 "To the married I give this command(NOT I, BUT THE LORD). WHy would he have to say this is from the Lord. Isn't it all from the Lord? If he says this is from the lord here, we should assume that this statement is from the Lord, and not all others. In 1 cor 7:12 "To the rest I say this(I, not the Lord)" So, this is Paul not the Lord. Humm. Not all the W.O.G. |

I wonder why God would lay that upon your heart and not your husbands also? Is your husband not listening? Or are you listening to the wrong thing? Or is God testing your patience and submittion? Either way it seems to me that submiting to your husband is always the way to go. While praying for God to reveil himself to both of you to be in agreement. | ||||||
