1 | Changing my skin color | Bible general Archive 4 | followerofHim | 209478
I think you need to think what would Jesus have you to do? You can understand Gods' character by looking at His creation! He made us different colors with purpose. He does nothing without purpose. If lighter people are treated better is this right in light of Gods' word? If you change your color you are supporting the idea that this is better then another, this is an ungodly idea! What I would do is be a witness of Gods' character to the world and His standard for all men to love and respect each other by living a Godly life according to His principles and convicting the world of thier sinfullness in showing partiality to a particular skin tone! You show the world skin color has nothing to do with character. Character is what counts! I am light skinned and married a very dark skinned black man and I know people often wonder why, as they may not see the attractiveness I see. I dated 2 guys that were model types and had little character and in the end, when it came down to what matters in life, I chose to marry a man of character not of a particular skin type. It confuses people, I am pretty good looking I think but I chose to make decisions in light of Gods heart. It witnesses to people of what is Truth! God made you with dark skin intentionally do not bow down to the worlds standards. Black is beautiful, as is yellow, white, and all inbetweens!!!! Be the you God created you to be ok.
