God chose us. But we have a choice to make as well. All men have free will. Saved or unsaved We can choose to do good or evil We can choose to obey or not We can choose to do Gods will or not We can choose to follow him or not We can choose to submit or not We can choose to stand in his name or run We can choose to … That is why God gave the Law first to the Jew and now Grace to all Ecclesiastes 12 14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. |

4 | REVELATION ! | Matt 16:15 | dwilde | 193471
Hello all, I found this question to be intriguing and could not resist in posting an answer. The answer is that Jesus Christ is 100 percent God (the beginning and the end) and 100 percent man (Flesh and blood). He is one person of the Trinity, (God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, The three are One). It is this fact, this belief, this doctrine that is the foundation of our faith and our salvation. This Rock is also the stumbling block that most people can not get around. That is why their are so many religions in the world. Religions are based on getting around the Word of God. Christianity is a relationship with God, built on the Foundation of the 100 percent infallible, inerrant Word of God, Jesus Christ. |

5 | how can you beforgivin? | NT general Archive 1 | dwilde | 179305
The Belief that we as born-again believers are forgiven of all sins, (past, present and future) is held by the free gift of salvation. Salvation that God has redeemed that which was lost and adopted that which has been redeemed into His family for eternity, see Ephesians 1. We are secure in that eternal life, see John 10:27-29. The free gift of salvation is just that free. It is what God has done for us. The only thing that we can do is accept it or reject it. If we must do any thing else, then Salvation is no longer a free gift and our salvation is based on our works or deeds and then salvation is no longer free. If Salvation is anything but free then Romans 6:23 is a lie and if that is the case then the whole of God’s Word is false. |

Yes, Suicide is a sin. But suicide is like all sin, it is forgiven to a child of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ paid that debt in full, for all sin including suicide. |

8 | Baby Smashing? | Ps 137:9 | dwilde | 110942
Blessed be the Lord for he is just and righteous. Isaiah 13 11And I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil 16Their infants also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be plundered and their wives ravished. This whole prophecy is generally conceded to have been written well over a century (170 years, according to archbishop James Ussher) before Babylon's downfall, when the circumstances necessary for its fulfillment seemed most improbable--but it has been literally fulfilled in detail. Human keenness of foresight could not possibly have foreseen that great Babylon would be wiped from the face of the earth (Isa. 13:19), become ruins infested by wild animals (Isa. 13:21, 22), be feared because of superstition by the Arabs (Isa. 13:20)--with only a small village near the area to mark the place where, since the days of Nimrod, mighty kings had exalted themselves above the God of heaven. Various conquerors during the centuries contributed to Babylon's downfall until, by the first century B.C., it was as utterly and hopelessly destroyed as Sodom and Gomorrah (Isa. 13:19). Jeremiah 25 12Then when seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, says the Lord, for their iniquity, and will make the land [of the Chaldeans] a perpetual waste.(3) 13And I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations. 9 | Does anyone believe in partial rapture? | Bible general Archive 2 | dwilde | 109970
I do not know what partial rapture is. But, I believe that when God the father tells his son Jesus that it is time for him to go and get his bride, he will come and with the sounding of the trumpet we (the true born again believers) will meet him in the air. There will be a 144,000 Jews and two witnesses to proclaim the Gospel during the tribulation. The important thing to remember is that we (the true born again believers) should always be ready and fathful. |

10 | Don't you believe in Predestination? | 1 Cor 4:7 | dwilde | 102787
We are all Gods creation. And the most important ingredient that he added was Free Will. The existence of free will cannot be disputed. We all have free will and that only covers part of what makes up a person. There are also environment, experiences, and people that influence what makes up a person. A person can choose to do good or not to do good (Free Will) After salvation (Ephesians 1 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,) The change is, as you say our destination, but also it is our point of view. We now see in whole not in part. We know in whole not in part. We can now see from Gods point of view. And that is what makes the change. To help some one with psychology, you must help that person see the problem from a different point of view. The difference in my life is, knowing that I am nothing without God. I have nothing without God. And that in God all (ALL) things are possible. Including a life that is changed. Thanks, |

11 | I think what bibleheat was saying....... | NT general Archive 1 | dwilde | 100839
LOVE, it is all about Love. The Holy Spirit has been sealed within us at the time of salvation. That was part of the free gift from God. And we are to love God with all our hart, mind, and sole. And love others as we love our selves. The only way to do that is submission to God. And God will give you what you need from the Holy Spirit. PS Ecclesiastes 12 12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. |

13 | golden rule | John 13:34 | dwilde | 92414
Matthew 22 37Jesus said to him, ""You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." John 13 34A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." |

14 | Gospel Support? | 2 Tim 3:16 | dwilde | 92241
To say that only part of the scriptures are profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness is to say that other parts are not. This is (IS) a false teaching. The Word of God IS the Word of God. If you do not accept All scripture as whole then you do not accept God as whole. Christ is the word, the bible. And if you do not believe that, and if you do not believe that the bible is the living word of God, and is God, then you cannot believe in Christ who is the bible, the living word of God, and you do not have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. Fore he will testify that Christ and the word, the bible are one. John 1 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. |

17 | Millenial reign will be where? Rev 20:4 | Rev 20:4 | dwilde | 90256
It is clear to me that a thousand years is a thousand years and that it has not (NOT) happened yet. But will happen after the seven year tribulation. Revelation 20 verse 3 “till the thousand years should be fulfilled” And because he will reign over the earth he will be on the earth. Revelation 20 verse 4 “and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years” |

18 | Iniquity and sin? | Jer 36:3 | dwilde | 87254

19 | Can one accept Christ but not the Bible? | Luke 24:27 | dwilde | 86739
Can one accept Christ but not the Bible? A thousand times NO. If you believe the Bible has a flaw then you must believe Christ has a flaw and if Christ has a flaw then he is not worth believing in. If we as true believers do not stand up and tell the truth about salvation and the whole bible, then we are suppressing the truth, suppressing the Holy Spirit and misleading the lost. John 1 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 14 26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 15 26"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. |

20 | Explaining salvation to a young child. | NT general Archive 1 | dwilde | 86607
It is easy. Salvation is someone innocence, by their own free will taking the blame for you. I am a father to 3 boys one of them is mentally challenged and I have found that as Christ gave us an example we in turn live that example for are children. We teach them that we all make mistakes and we should forgive one a nether as God will forgive us when we ask him. And keep the Christ like example and most important continues prayer for them and yourself. Then when (or if) they reach the age of accountability the Holly Sperit will watch over the seed that you planted. |
