We are not here to judge the world but to be a light in the darkness. Just because it's a "church" and he's a "pastor" doesn't mean either is holy or perfect. The church is just a building. Nothing holy. He is just a man, not perfect. As a Christian your job is to strive to be like Christ. In all things, in all ways. If God is leading you to confront him, then you must do so in love. And if he is not receptive, then maybe it's time to go. Spend time with the Lord. Is he leading you to another fellowship? Vengence is mine sayith the Lord. |

2 | How can you no? [I mean know] | Bible general Archive 2 | captaincrunch | 112158 | ||
You can't control yourself, by yourself. Even Paul said "oh, wretched man that I am!". Even Jesus was tempted. Taking that temptation one step further is what becomes sin. Our physical bodies will always be subject to sin. But we are spirit. There is the battle. Walking in the spirit, always. That means filtering EVERYTHING through the spirit. Every action, every thought, every mood we should filter through the Holy Spirit, through Jesus before we act on it. Who do you love the most? When Jesus is your first true love you will not want to do anything that will hurt Him. Love the Lord your God with all your Heart, Soul, Mind and Body. The only time you will fall into the traps of sin is when you take your eyes of Jesus. Just as Peter did in the water. If you sin because it's Ok, Jesus will forgive you, then you must wonder . . . do you really believe, or are you just looking for a "fire escape?" |

Time does not exist with God. Therefore God see's everything, from beginning to end, as one unit. Think of it this way. God see's everything as "history", in the past. Example; Think back to when you crashed on your bicycle. When you look back, do you now know what you did to make you crash? Probably. However, at the time you were on the bike, did you know then you were going to crash? No. OK, then, does knowing TODAY what you did wrong back then mean that you were predestined to crash? No, you still had choices. You simply know now because you can look back at the entire picture with one glace. God see's all of time this way. He knows what's going to happen beause it has already happend in his sight. |
