1 | Jesus' name baptism? | Acts 2:38 | bluesbadger | 6662
It seems to me that we should let scripture interpret scripture and if Jesus gave the command to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and then we see the example of the apostles baptizing in the name of Jesus then that must be what Jesus meant. That is the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The apostles were close to Jesus and understood Him to mean that otherwise it would have been written different.
