1 | "stand in the path of sinners" mean? | Ps 1:1 | bluemonkey7 | 40391
Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. (Whole Chapter: Matthew 7 In context: Matthew 7:12-14) Matthew 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Whole Chapter: Matthew 7 In context: Matthew 7:13-15) I think "nor stand in the path of the sinners" might mean dont be on the road that leads to destruction(with the sinners), but walk on the narrow road(with the righteous)so you can go to heaven |

3 | Paul's view of women and marriage | 1 Cor 7:1 | bluemonkey7 | 40387
I think Paul is saying that it is good for a man not to marry so they can stay focused on God, and revolve their whole life around God,and not a wife. By saying that each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband means that they need to get married so they whatever they do together will not be immoral anymore, because they would be married.(sexual immorality)
