Good question and again I am not a Pastor, just a Christ follower so my answer may get scrutinized by some of the more experienced. God's word tells us that when we are weak, He is strong. We must learn to trust Him and rely on Him in our everyday lives, situations and circumstances. We must take His word and believe it and trust it 100 Percent. His word tells us that God measures the universe with the span of His hand and that He holds us in the palm of His hand and therefore nobody can snatch us from that. Satan will try and deceive you until the day we die and he is the master of deception so he will twist scripture and even send others into your life telling you things like, "it's ok to do that" or "the bible doesnt really say that". But dont be deceived, when you are being attacked by the enemy, a simple thing remember is WWJD. I know its an old saying but really, when Jesus was in the wilderness, fasting for 40 days, tired and hungry, that is when satan tempted him, not when things were going well. So what did Jesus do? He HIT HIM with scripture! He quoted scipture and satan left him alone. So read the word, memorize a verse a week if you can, and use it against the enemy. Never try and fight him without your spiritual armour and remember God loves you no matter how bad you have been. He knows everything about you, EVERYTHING, and yet He is still CRAZY about you and loves you more than you can ever imagine. Satan on the other hand hates you and will continue to lie to you and try and get you to turn away from God. I am just a singer/songwriter/musician so this may not be the right answer but just keep on doing three things and one day at a time, you will be victorius. 1. Read his word. 2. Pray. 3. Spend time with other believers building relationships within the body of Christ! God Bless mike |

2 | Why is communion a sin for sinners? | Luke 22:19 | abbab24 | 210706 | ||
I used to go to a Baptist church where communion was only taken every 3 months or so and they emphasized getting your heart right before taking communion, that it is a form of worship and reverance and thanksgiving for what Jesus did for us on the cross. I now go to a church that has communion every week. It becomes routine and meaningless to many I have noticed because they dont explain it well. I too thought you couldnt be a believer and take communion but then a Pastor told me that Jesus served Judas communion at the last supper and he was certainly not a believer. I am not a Pastor but my belief is that all are welcome to partake, but I personaly like to take time before I take it to reflect on anything the Lord may bring to mind that I may need to confess to Him and thank Him for what he did for me on the cross and listen to that still small voice (the Holy Spirit) that may lead me to pray for another like a lost family member or the Pastor or...so just do it in remberence of Him like it say's to do in His word. Sorry about the long answer, and Pastors feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Mike |
