5 | How can Jews accept the Christs divinity | John 1:1 | Searcher56 | 233866
you, The Shema is part of the Shema Yisrael (Deu 6:4–9, 11:13-21; Num 15:37–41). One would iim. conclude there is one God - no Trinity. However, Genesis 1:26 points there is a Trinity - Let us and God is Elohim. What do you think? Searcher |

6 | Why evangelize according to Jer 31:34? | Jer 31:34 | Searcher56 | 233865
you, Your third question is "Where does it say here that a sacrifice is needed for God to forgive?" In the OT animal sacrifices were required (Lev 4:35, 5:10) ... Hebrews 9:22. Our Lord Jesus Christ is/was the ultimate and final sacrifice once for all (Heb 7:27). Hebrews 10:14-18 says there is no longer a need for sacrifice once sins are forgiven. Notice the relation of this passage to all 3 questions. What do you think, Searcher |

7 | Why evangelize according to Jer 31:34? | Jer 31:34 | Searcher56 | 233863
you, Your second question is "This covenant sounds like it is only for Jews. If the law is written on the heart is it the same law?" Verse 33 does indicate it is for the house of Israel only. Some say we Gentiles are grafted in (Rom 11), but IMHO I'd be careful to include the promises of Israel ... and if one does, one must include the consequences. No picking and choosing. Hebrews 8:11 has a related promise, which includes all, IMHO. What do you think, Searcher |

8 | Why evangelize according to Jer 31:34? | Jer 31:34 | Searcher56 | 233862
you ... If the New Covenant is like Jeremiah described why is there a need for evangelization? ... Because it does not say the neighbor lives next door, or even in the same city. Remember the parable in Luke 10:29ff? ... Also, people will still need to hear (Rom 10:8-18)? What do you think? Searcher |
