1 | How much time passes between? | 2 Samuel | Samantha432 | 166720
I'm not sure actually. But, if you read 1 Samuel 17 through 2 Samuel 2, you will see all of David's story played out....Goliath, Saul, the cave....to David being crowned King. Otherwise as far as how old he was and all that, I'm not sure. It probably says, but I don't really remember? |

3 | heaven is perfect but we live on earth | Mark 10:21 | Samantha432 | 160543
Being caught up with your looks is boasting in yourself. We were put on this earth to find every way possible to glorify God. Being concerned whether or not your hair is perfect or you have the perfect tan takes away from time you could spend praying and developing your relationship with God. Sure, I like to look nice, but I have to think, what what matters more? Having a humble heart and a strong relationship with God? Or perfect nails? Which one of those things helps your walk with God? |

6 | What about tattoos? | Lev 19:28 | Samantha432 | 156137
Leviticus 19:28: "Never cut your bodies in mourning for the dead or mark your skin with tattoos, for I am the LORD. This is a hard question. Someone told me that since the new covenant was established that this was no longer considered a "bad" thing. I guess all you can do is pray about it and seek His guidance... |

13 | i've asked but not received | James 4:3 | Samantha432 | 155426
You know that movie Bruce Almighty? He's driving and praying for a sign from God and they are all right in front of his eyes. That's exactly what happens to me! I once prayed that I would find the perfect guy who I could fall in love with. I started thinking I had to take matters into my own hands and go and search for that "perfect' guy. Well, guess where he was? Right in front of my face! I'd been working with him for 2 years! And now we are married! All I can say is that God loves your faith. Keep on praying, keep on believing. and keep on looking. Pray with an earnest heart and He will reveal His answer. Matthew 7:7 "Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened. |

15 | p;raying too much , hurt us? | Luke 11:1 | Samantha432 | 155129
Thessalonians 5:17 "pray without ceasing." Luke 11:9-13 "And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks. "You fathers--if your children ask for a fish, do you give them a snake instead? Or if they ask for an egg, do you give them a scorpion? Of course not! If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him." |

16 | explain isaiah 54:1-3 | Is 54:1 | Samantha432 | 154910
This is what the notes in the NIV say "To be childless ("barren") at that time was a woman's great shame, a disgrace. Families depended on children for survival, especially when the parents became elderly. Isreal (Zion) was unfruitful, like a childless woman, but God would permit her to have many children and would change her mourning into singing. |

18 | non believed in heaven | Luke | Samantha432 | 153239
I don't know if these will help: Matthew 18:3 Then he said, "I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. -Matthew 22:30 For when the dead rise, they won't be married. They will be like the angels in heaven. Luke 17:28-35 "And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business--eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building--until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Yes, it will be business as usual right up to the hour when the Son of Man returns. On that day a person outside the house must not go into the house to pack. A person in the field must not return to town. Remember what happened to Lot's wife! Whoever clings to this life will lose it, and whoever loses this life will save it. That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken away, and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. Hope these help in some way :) God Bless! I would also encourage you to start praying that your friend's husband's heart could be softened so that God could work in Him and save him. Encourage your friend to do the same. |

1 Corinthians 10:13, "And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." I think you already know the answer :) |

20 | What is the AKJV? | 1 John 5:7 | Samantha432 | 153035
I don't think we can say who and who isn't going to heaven. We don't know their hearts, so who are we to judge? We can witness and pray for those who seem like non-believers, but I don't think we can judge.
