1 | Relations of faith the fig tree | Matt 13:12 | RangerRick | 211748
This should open some doors of understanding as far as it being symbolic of the children of Israel it could be seen as a metaphor of their rejection of Christ and their loss of being God's only "chosen" people so tha could be that the gentiles had faith in Christ and more was given in the form of an ternal relationship and the jews did not have faith in Christ so their place at the king table was taken from them. 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. |

5 | what evil did the Lord create? Isah 45:7 | Is 45:7 | RangerRick | 211676
He is not speaking of the evil of sin for there is no sin in him but he is speaking of the evil of punishment.I form the light, which is grateful and pleasing, and I create darkness, which is grievous and unpleasing. I make peace (put here for all good) and I create evil, not the evil of sin (God is not the author of that), but the evil of punishment. I the Lord order, and direct, and do all these things. Observe, (1.) The very different events that befal the children of men. Light and darkness are opposite to each other, and yet, in the course of providence, they are sometimes intermixed, like the morning and evening twilights, neither day nor night, Zechariah 14:6. There is a mixture of joys and sorrows in the same cup, allays to each other. Sometimes they are counterchanged, as noonday light and midnight darkness.

7 | can a woman cut her hair? | Bible general Archive 4 | RangerRick | 211643
It depends on certain factors like;Is she married and what does the Priest of the home say. If not married what does the scripture tell us; "Long hair on a woman is her glory" Right? Why would a woman do something that is unpleasing to God? You wouldn't knowingly. Now you know. |

8 | Why Sarah and her name consedered great | Bible general Archive 4 | RangerRick | 211642
Who was great? Abraham? He was a liar and a coward who called his wife sister before the king and allowed her to become a concubine because he was afraid of death. Did he believe God? How about Saul of Tarsus? Great? He had Steven murdered and many more Christians fed to the lions. The point is that God uses the imperfect to perfect his plan. Don;t believe me? Look in the mirror. Are you "Great"? or "Perfect"? He is still using you to perfect his will.
9 | Please define scriptural remarriage | Bible general Archive 4 | RangerRick | 211641
You are correct in your interpretation of the scriptures but the scripture also has a long list of other sins tha I am sure your daughter and everyone else is guilty of. 1John 1:9 This scripture says "ALL" unrighteousness except for the sin unto death which is Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. She needs to repent and confess her sins unto the Lord and go on with life. We are still under Grace thank God.

Billy Graham's Prayer For Our Nation THIS MAN SURE HAS A GOOD VIEW OF WHAT'S HAPPENING TO OUR COUNTRY! 'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free. Amen!' |

11 | Was Pink rightPs 115:3 | Bible general Archive 4 | RangerRick | 211618
The Lord is now no longer the willing scapegoat or willing sacrifice, he is now aand forever the King of Kings and Lord of Lords he is the First and the Last the Alpha and Omega he is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, when you work out your salvation be sure you are doing it with fear and trembling. The devil and his demons tremble at the very name of Jesus he will return on a white horse prepared for battle and he will crush the armies of the nations and the anti-Christ. He is the ruler of the universe and beyond he is the Lord of the host and the Sabboth (Army of Heaven).Heaven is his throne and the Earth is his footstool. Need I say more about my God? Oh yeah...He is not very liberal at all.
12 | Can I lose my salvation? | Bible general Archive 4 | RangerRick | 211617
If you look at the last few verses of the book of James then you can clearly see with proper hermaneutics that the epistle which is directed to the church addresses that very subject and instructs us on what must be done to "Reconvert" the "Brother" back from a death sentance and the title "sinner" and saving his soul from a spiritual death which one who is saved shall not suffer as promised in John chpt.3. If we sin there is an unction with God, the man Christ Jesus who is the prepitiation for sin but this does not address that type of "sin" this is dealing with a convert that has "erred from the truth". In full context Judas Iscariot would be the model of a backslidden doomed soul. Judas was the very first backslider but not the only one in the New Testament. Throughout the new testament Paul speaks of many ministers that fell by the way of sin and erred from the faith and some he turned over to the devil.
13 | Quries about Christmas? | NT general | RangerRick | 211616
Christmas is a pagan holiday that was brought about by the merging of Babylonianism and Christianity by Constantine emporer of Rome. Catholicism was born and introduced all types of pagan rituals like "Christ's Mass" which was the new Christian name for the "Winter Solstice" or the "Saturnalia". Jesus was actually born sometime around the end of September the exact date has not been identified to my knowledge but by knowing when Elisabeth's (John the Baptists mother)husband was the priest at the temple and what days he was on duty and when she was pregnant they have a pretty good idea. Easter is another pagan holiday from Egypt that was actually the celebration of "Ishtar" the goddess of fertility that was celebrated with rabbits (Peter) and exchanging brightly colored eggs. Sound familiar? Jesus said; we now no longer observe days or stars etc. etc. The question is simple...since anything we do in doubt is sin...Do you feel that you are doing something wrong by decorating a tree and celebrating "Christ's Mass"? If so then maybe you shouldn't and be a witness for the Lord. If not then you should and still be a witness for the Lord during "Chistmas". No one is your judge but you must judge all things by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. |
