2 | Questioner, Are you a Muslim? | Bible general Archive 1 | Questioner | 9312
Dear Nolan, I was born and raised a christian but never felt comfortable with the teachings I received in the various churches Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Catholic, Episcopalian. I do believe that all people have the right to practice as they see fit and I wonder often why it is that Islam causes people to become frightened and start getting defensive. That usually happens only when one knows they are wrong. I have an open mind and will continue to read and post on this forum as I may be able to understand others better. You may also learn to be Christlike and be tolerant of others that are different from you. I would never tell anyone their belief was false since it must be true to them. May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You. |

I do believe that you believe the Bible to be G-D's word and parts of it are. I respect your right to your opinion but I don't agree with it. If you read my response again you will see that I said the Torah and the Quran are almost identical but the Old Testament is the only one that in any way resembles those Holy Books. Of course we will be judged by the book we follow so I hope that we will all live our beliefs to a T. I have seen too many professed Christians who were anything but and unfortunately the churches are still largeley segregated. Attend a Mosque and experience the brotherhood and know unconditional love and respect. I challenge you to explore Islam if you dare.
