1 | women? | Rom 16:1 | Ms. Trish | 77537
Romans 16 1. I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant[1] of the church in Cenchrea. 2. I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been a great help to many people, including me. 3. Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus. 4. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them. 5. Greet also the church that meets at their house. Greet my dear friend Epenetus, who was the first convert to Christ in the province of Asia. 6. Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you. I am female and do work in Prison ministry.. (Both my husband and myself travel throughout our state for Prison ministry and we both questioned this and sought God deeply). I heard Joyce Myers and the Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin of Rhema Bible School address this very issue. God Showed me this scripture and it blessed me so very much. God does not contradict Himself.. it is our interpretation that gets us in trouble. See here how Paul puts this: Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus. He Calls them his FELLOW WORKERS in CHRIST. Right along side of him. As I have traveled and preached I have seen one thing... there are many more women going to the prisons, nursing homes, hospitals etc than men. God needs us all. we all have a plan and purpose, Jer 29:11. I Have been a part of a wonderful ministry and pray that more men and women do hear the calling of our Heavenly Father. It is a joy, an honor and a blessing to be HIS hands and feet. Joyce Meyer brought up a point that she came across as she researched this very subject. She said that in many of the translations and books that she read referred to the scripture that asks that women keep quiet at church was actually due to their lack of education. They would interrupt the "Minister" and ask what they meant and it was not appropriate. So in turn, this was taken out of context and many religions refuse to allow women as ministers. Because of this mis-interpretation. |

2 | is selling in a church building fine? | John 2:13 | Ms. Trish | 59948
I just have one question fellow Christian... Instead of going to the multitudes for your answer, have you prayed about what Our Heavenly Father would have you do. We all have very DIFFERING opinions But only the Holy Spirit can minister the truth to you and lead you in the direction He would have for you. The best source for the interpretation of the HOLY WORD is the HOLY Spirit. God Bless you and Lead you in all your quests. And may God Bless your Church in it's Finances. Sincerely yours, |

3 | Why does God "allows" suffering? | 2 Cor 12:7 | Ms. Trish | 52213
But wouldn't this statement you read be in contradiction with this verse: 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. I believe that Yes, God Allows things in our lives, but it is how we handle those situations. Read about Job... Satan went before God and basically complained. God then ALLOWED satan to do what he wanted, BUT God did tell satan, do what you wish, but don't kill him. Job stayed true to God... Now, we have the new covenant of the Blood of Jesus. Again I remind you that God tells us that satan came to seek us out kill us, destroy us..., but JESUS CAME TO GIVE us LIFE and give it in ABUNDANCE. Look at Jer 29:11 Here God says "For I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to PROSPER you and NOT harm you, plans for a GOOD future." God forgives, God provides, but we are the biggest obsticle we have in the receiving of God's blessings. Remember tho He forgives there are still those that have to suffer the consequences of their actions. God is not a God of Confusion, If a minister preaches confusion I would definately think twice before going back and reading or hearing what they had to say and I would pray for them to preach ONLY the truth thru the Holy Spirit. NOW, AS FAR AS THE OTHER PART OF YOUR QUESTION: Satan does not MAKE us do anything, he just puts the temptation before us. WE then make the choice to go forth with any perverse action... remember, God gave us free choice- that's when our flesh takes over and there it is the beginning of suffering. REBELION, living in an ANTI-christ spirit, (Sin). When Eve took a bite of "sin" through temptation then also Adam became tempted. Adam then made the choice to turn His head from GOD'S WILL. So if you are in rebelion, you are not in God's will... therefore you have separated yourself from purity, from God's perfection. God cannot be in the presence of impurity. So Adam and Eve through sin, chosen sin, separated themselves. Then when we stay in rebelion, (don't repent) then we GIVE satan control. It all comes back to our Free choice. So, sin causes pain, suffering, Repentance causes freedom from that pain, suffering. In order to get out of that suffering, God gave us Jesus. The New Covenant. GOD BLESS YOU!! |

4 | Love grow cold? | Matt 24:12 | Ms. Trish | 47477
When I read this entire scripture, Math 24, I see that this group of people whose "love grows cold" could be people operating in a religious spirit rather than having a relationship with God and actually being saved. Just like in the days that Jesus walked the earth.. The religiosness of the people crucified Him. In that same way, we can ask, will that same spirit keep people today from following in Godly love and receiving the truth of Jesus Christ, and following into that coldness and parrishing.. "For My people parrish because of lack of knowledge".
5 | messages | Prov 29:15 | Ms. Trish | 46894
We travel through out our state and minister in the Prisons. What I have learned in going in to the Prisons is simple.... raise your children according to the scripture, with LOVE and discipline. You have to have balance. For the deceiver is here to destroy God's Children... And, satan hates the little children... look at all the abortions, all the crimes against children, children killing children in schools, sibling, etc. There is a sermon among many sermons here. Look at how many children are growing up with out a daddy in the house or a mamma. Many of the people in the prisons that we talk to did not have a strong family unit... (Now, I hope I will get in trouble for saying this) BUT a woman canNOT teach a young man how to be a man... women canNOT teach men to be men period. The same for men, they canNOT teach a young girl how to be a woman. There are many circumstances that can put parents into the single parenting situation, I am not judging single parents... only stating that there are certain things that need to be addressed in the world today. (Single parents need the help of their christian brothers and sisters in these situations.) It just depends on what you as a deliverer of the message are looking for here. Do you want to let people know how important it is to raise children with respect for God? Do you want to let them know of how in need we are for strong Christians to answer the calls in their lives and pick up their crosses and go out and do what it is they are called to do. (Whether it be in helping single parents, jail ministries, helping in your church, or whatever it is that you are called to do.) Do you want to teach people that it is okay to dicipline in love. It's all on where you want to go with this. There is so much to say in Love to those in need and wanting to serve the Lord Jesus. Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him. Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left undisciplined brings his mother to shame. God Bless you... I hope I understood what you were looking for here. 7 | How can God let us go through pain? | John 11:35 | Ms. Trish | 43005
I guess the only thing I can tell you is that we live in a free choice world. Read about Job. God never tempted him, but he allowed satan to tempt him, to bring storms and illness upon Job. But Job knew that God was awesome. He also just Knew God. This is just a question, but where are your friends parents in their walk with God. Are they strong in their relationship with Jesus ... do they know the promises of God. Jer 29:11 tells us that God has Good plans for us Plans for a good future and not to harm us. You sometimes never get an answer, but sometimes we just need to Pray and have faith. God tells us that we are healed by the stripes on Jesus back. The bible also tells us that"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ." and my heart feels sorrow for my brothers and sisters throughout the world that are suffering. We know that satan wants to destroy us. We also know that JESUS CAME TO GIVE US LIVE AND TO GIVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY. We really need to pray for all that are suffering. To come in agreement that they will find the Pease of Jesus. In Christ Ms. Trish |

8 | Is JESUS a ticket to heaven or is a way | Bible general Archive 1 | Ms. Trish | 40951
Romans 10:9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."[5] 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."[6] 14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"[7] There is only One way to the Father In Heaven, and that is through The Son. John 17 Jesus Prays for Himself 1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: 2"Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. God tells you here about salvation, yes, come as you are, admit your sins-be forgiven... remember, what you are seeking is not something that we feed our physical body, but rather an eternal filling and purification that only through Jesus can be accomplished. Look at this scripture also John 4:10 Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." 4:11 "Sir," the woman said, "you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 4:12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?" 4:13 Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." 4:15 The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."
