1 | Gen 4:3-5 What was the difference? | 1 Chr 21:22 | Miss Patti | 230249
I believe because it was not giving the best of what he had. It was no sacrifice for him to give his offering. Abel gave his best. It's like giving someone a gift of something you had but didn't want in the first place. 1 Chr 21 22-24 Of course it was after Cain and Able, but in the book of Leviticus, Chapter 2 it tells of all the special preparation that must be done if the offering is grain. Just to harvest all your grain and then take a sampling to give as an offering, is no sacrifice. I hope that helps... God Bless
