3 | Explain this to me | Bible general Archive 1 | MikeQQshel | 9379
Be not troubled - John 12:26 - If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. If you do as the Lord commands then it will be you who is honoured by God. If they reject Christ and the call to serve, it is God who they must answer. Look at how many gave Jesus the excuses not to follow --Luke 9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. |

4 | Should the pastor be honored as a king. | 1 Thess 2:6 | MikeQQshel | 9376
1 Thessalonians 2:6 - Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. I hope a pastor is not seeking the honour nor the glory as a pastor. But to completely answer the question---verse 1st Thess 5:12 "And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake." So Pastor's are to be esteemed highly esteemed. In Christ Michael |

5 | where to find "come as you are" in bibl? | Is 1:18 | MikeQQshel | 9374
Isaiah 1:18 - Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. This term of words "come as you are"-- is used to call people to respond to the Gospel. -1- that your sins are forgiven because of the Blood of the Lamb 'Jesus.' -2- You are delivered from death beacuse Jesus died as the perfect substitutional death for us 'the seed of Adam' so we are now free to live "In CHRIST" the new life. -3- By reckoning ourself dead to sin we can present ourselves as living sacrifices to be obediant to the call to serve God in ministry. -4- Finally, by walking in the Spirit the Holy Spirit will renew our minds and in doing so we will walk in the light yeilding fruit that was not possible for the man without faith. Only by faith can a man please God. Just a note too, when you are walking in the Spirit you will know you are and it will because you have surrendered "self" died to the Old man. Being Godly is like breathing. You just live it. In Christ Michael |

6 | Exodo 3:11 | Ex 33:11 | MikeQQshel | 9370
11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. The Scripture says what it says An angel of the Lord - a term used to speak of God Himself. We know this because later and all around the verse Ex 3:11 it actuall says "GOD" So GOD revealed Himself as an Angel-like person a spiritual person. This is much different then your conclusion that just "a" angel of God but "the Angel of God" Later in History God reveals Himself as a man "Jesus CHRIST the LORD" so God has and can reveal Himself like an Angel or a Man. Besides if you read Ex. 33:11 is says God spoke to Moses as like a man would ---"Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend"--- the """as""" indicates that it was """as""" a man speaks not that The Father Himself in all His Glory spoke to Moses face to face. God is a consuming fire -Deuteronomy 4:24 If you have more Question I will try to help. In Christ Michael |
