You really come accross as trying to stir up trouble. I didn't know about the convention until recently and was told by someone that had not been coming here as long but they are much more active. I am probably the most liberal person here but I try to abide by the terms of use. When I gave you the answer about the fall of the devil it was way outside normal Christian theology but it is completely Biblical and you can see it is missing. That means it still exists if you know the number to find it but it can't be seen otherwise though you may have a email linking you to the thread. If it were obliterated there would have been two dots replacing it. I am not sure why you and I have not been booted. If you have a new question post it at the top. If it is a response post it as a note. No one is obligated to answer anything. Try to not come off as so confrontational and you might get more feedback.

Since you posted this as a question I feel free to respond. Unless you accept that the Torah is edited together from different traditions or that one person can rightly say they did something because there agent actually did it at there bidding you are going to have a hard time reconciling these things. In 1 Ch 21:15 the destroyer is the angel of the Lord. There are times in the Torah there is confusion of who is acting whether it is God or the angel of the Lord. Some people consider the visitor's Abraham before the destruction of Sodom and Gemorrah to be God. There is a possibility that none of these other beings actually exist but it is a way of communicating that the people of that time would understand. |

In the middle search on the right under "Search word(s):" put in apostle. Click on the green box to the right of a verse that has an "I" in it. (A "C" will show the verse in context and a green "N" a list of Notes.) After the word apostles or apostle you will see the strong number 652. Scroll down to the Hebrew-Aramaic _ Greek Dictionary and you will see: 652 apostolos; from 649; a messenger, one sent on a mission, an apostle:--apostle(19), apostles(52), apostles'(5), messenger(1), messengers(1), is sent(1). Under the top search on the right click on Advanced Search. In the date field put in an old date like 01-01-1900. In the contains these words field put in apostolos. (The date is to make all the available postings searchable. We used the transliterated Greek to do a very specific search that searching for the frequently used apostle won't get since you can't limit the search to the titles.) Scroll down and find a discussion that covers what you want. Look at that post then click on its title. Scroll down to the threads at the bottom and see if there are other links that covers what you want. If you want to see the verse at the top in context then click on the reference. If you want to refer someone to a post make sure the post you want is highlighted in the thread and get its id number from the title. You can use that number in the top right search box. |

The New Testament we have is translated from Greek. The closest you get to implying a possible Greek author is that the author of Luke and Acts joined Paul's group between Troas and Macedonia. See Acts 16:8-10.

The New Testament was written in Greek. There is a claim that there was an Aramaic Matthew. The older writings were mostly in Hebrew except for some Aramaic in Daniel.
