1 | Is this a lottery? | Rev 20:6 | Lastday | 130340
This is not taking a chance like in a "lottery." Those who are "kept alive" are among the number who "do not seek to save themselves; but know they deserve to die." This will be humanity's last chance to "bow and beg for mercy and be kept alive" to enter the Millennial Kingdom. Otherwise, those who seek to save themselves will be "fed to the birds that are gathered together above." Luke 17:33-37. Mel at www.lastday.net |

2 | Question on Matthew 16:28 | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 124570
Dalilah, I don't know if you are still there after so long, but verse 27 shows the context in which some will not taste death is when Jesus is "about to come in glory." But the first word in the verse, "about," may not be translated. Please go to www.lastday.net and click on Meditations for my view. Mel Miller |

3 | one world government (Revel.)? | Rev 17:18 | Lastday | 99361
The EU must be extended by the union of all religions and nations under the role of Babylon the Great. Rev.17:18. But this will not occur until the White Horseman of Seal One has overcome the forces of Terrorism. So look for the nations' religious leaders to unite under the arbitraion of the Vatican. Mel |

4 | Matt 24 Vs. One-World-Order | Matt 24:32 | Lastday | 99262
In my opinion, the One-World Order will come into existence by Babylon the Great, through the union of all the world's religions under the Vatican, and will be the means of fulfilling the roll of Mystery Babylon in ruling the kings of the earth." Rev.17:18. This World Order, according to many, will be one of the results of the Antichrist offering "peace to Israel." But the next Pope will not be the Antichrist. Rev.6:1,2. As the White Horseman of Seal One wins the war against terrorism, the union of religions under the Vatican should bring on the Mideast peace that Antichrist later "takes away" as the Red Horseman of Seal Two. Rev.6:3,4. This means the peaceful role of Mystery Babylon must be inserted, time-wise, between Rev.6:2 and Rev.6:3. Jesus jumps into the midpoint of Daniel's 70th Seven to reveal the Temple must be rebuilt before Antichrist "takes peace from earth." "Wars and rumors of wars will continue to the End." So we cannot know who the Antichrist will be for sure until he "sets the abomination in the Temple" at midpoint of Daniel's 70th Seven. While Antichrist will take part in the peace process, Jesus clearly states we will not know the End is Near until we see "the abomination standing in the holy place." Matt.24:15,29,33. When Ten Kings out of the "revived" but extended Roman World Empire destroy Rome in "one hour," they will give their "power and authority" to the Antichrist. They will confiscate the Network's Global System so that the One-World Order continues to exist as the 7th World Empire. The 7th head on the Beast therefore represents both a 7th and 8th rulership. The Harlot, Mystery Babylon, will be the first ruler of the 7th World Order and the Antichrist is called the 8th. Rev.17:10-16. One-World Empire will exist under two successive rulers as the 7th Head on the Beast. When the Ten Kings destroy Rome, it changes rulers to fulfill the "wounding and healing of the Beast that was, is not and yet shall be." Rev.17:3, 17:8. Mel www.lastday.net lastday1@cox.net |

5 | shall not taste of death till they see | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 99083
Candy Lee, I have waited to answer because Luke 9:27 must be linked to the 1260 days of Kingdom Power of Mark 9:1, Matt.16:28 and Rev.12:10. The other verses you give refer to what happens on the Day Christ comes in Person. "Some must still taste death AFTER they have seen the Kingdom of God coming in Power" for 1260 days by the Two Prophets of Rev.11:3-11. When these two "finish their 1260-day task" and while they lie dead on a street of Jerusalem for up to 3 1/2 days, "some" must still be prepared to die. When Jesus said that only the Father knows the Day and Hour of His coming, He was conscious of Rev.6:9-11 allowing that only the Father knows the HOUR the last martyr will be killed in order for His wrath to avenge their blood on the Lastday. But this Hour also comes on one of those 3 1/2 days since Jesus must raise these two up on the same day that He raises up all/every believer; on the last day ... on a day immediately after the great tribulation. John 6:38-40, Mark 13:24, Matt.24:29. It is so interesting to me that Jesus will know the Day has come only when "a voice coming out of the Temple, from the Throne, declares: "It is Done." Rev.16:17. For with the last plague emptied, "God's anger will be exhausted." (New Jerusalem Bible). Rev.6:12-17 follows 16:12-17!! With that voice from the Thone, the Lamb will open Seal Six showing the Day of Wrath has come. But He must wait for the unknown HOUR of God's wrath until the Lamb rescues the 144,000 from Mt. Zion and they present the Son of Man and sing the Song of the Lamb before the Ancient of Days and the Court sits in judgment on the Beast. Read Dan.7:13,22 and Seal 7, both of which describe the same scene. Mel |

6 | Why will God judge the church? | 1 Pet 4:17 | Lastday | 99076
Hi, God will judge the Church first because its members are not only washed in the blood of the Lamb, but those who do not overcome (including those guilty of adultery) will be "cast into great tribulation to be killed." Rev.2:22-24. Jesus is not coming for a Church whose members are not totally worthy and "unashamed of Him." That is why Mark 9:1 must be part of the text that ends with Mark 8:38 and its requirement that we be worthy of Christ at His coming in glory. Robert Stephanus, in 1550, wrongly put Mark 9:1 with what happened a week after its truth was declared!! Mel at www.lastday.net and lastday1@cox.net |

7 | Why have the Millennial Kingdom? | Rev 20:6 | Lastday | 99075
Hi, God will not destroy all of unbelieving mankind when Jesus comes. All Israel will be saved on that Day. Why? Because all those of the "nations that are left who come against Jerusalem must come to Jerusalem to worship the Lord annually." Zech.14:16. Again, wherever unbelieving Twosomes are found, "one will be fed to the birds" and the "one who is willing to die will be kept alive." Luke 17:30,33,37. After two-thirds of mankind are killed in the sixth Trumpet, up to one half of the 800 million Muslims who survive may be "kept alive." Their offspring, as well as those of 2000 million from other peoples who survive, will produce either sheep or goat nations who will be separated at the End of the Millennium. I emphasize Muslims because the descendants of the twelve Tribes of Ishmael are due to be "blessed through Israel's natural seed" to completely fulfill God's promise to Abraham. 8 | What does Jeremiah 31:31-34 refer to? | Jer 31:34 | Lastday | 99074
Hi, The New Covenant for today includes all who believe in Christ whether Jew or Gentile. But the New Covenant of Jeremiah and Heb.8:8-13 and Rom.11:27 applies in a special sense to all of ethnic Israel who survive on the Day of Christ's Epiphany. God will keep His promise to (continue) to bless all the nations through the restoration of Israel during the Millennium. Those who reject the need for and reality of a 1000 year reign of Christ over all nations after He comes in glory use the argument that the New Covenant exclusively refers to the benefits of the Cross for Believers ... but only until Christ comes a second time. Paul clearly states that the Covenant will accrue to Israel when Messiah comes out of Zion and God remembers their sins no more. There is no way that it can be said, prior to the return of Christ, that "all know the Lord." Mel, www.lastday.net or lastday1@cox.net |

9 | Christian message for all-New Testament | Luke 21:24 | Lastday | 99037
This theme is developed by Paul in Rom.11:25-27 where Israel will participate in a New Covenant which I believe includes but goes beyond the New Covnenat we and O. T. Saints share because of the Cross. The New Covenant, according to Heb.8:8-13, includes the restoration of both Houses of Israel and Judah. The quotation from Jeremiah must be fulfilled when God "remembers the sins of Israel no more" and the knowledge of the Lord spreads through Israel so that even the promise to Abraham to bless all nations will be fulfilled, including 800 million surviving Muslims, descendants of the tribes of Ishmael. The sheep and goat nations, separated at the end of the Millennium, will be formed after Christ comes to "redeem Israel and restore their kingdom." Luke 21:28,31. Mel www.lastday.net |

10 | What do you believe that this refers to | Luke 21:24 | Lastday | 99034
Some think this verse was fulfilled (completed) in 1948 or 1967 when Israel declared its statehood or when she captured Jerusalem. But Dan.12:11, Matt.24:15, Rev.11:1,2, Zech.14:1-16 show that Jerusalem will not be totally returned to Israel until Christ's Epiphany and Presence. Only one third of Israel will come through the fires of great tribulation before they recognize Messiah's actual Presence as the Hour when they will be "redeemed and their Kingdom restored." 11 | Christian message for all-New Testament | Luke 21:24 | Lastday | 99032
I enthusiastically support your conclusion that Luke's message of hope, more so than that of Mark or Matthew, has all peoples in mind. This is seen in chapters 17 and 21. In verses 35 and 36 of both chapters we see Jesus concerned with those who will seek His mercy in order to be "kept alive" and to "escape all the things coming on all inhabitants of earth at His Apocalypse." Luke 17:30,33,35,36; Luke 21:35,36. Mel www.lastday.net. |

12 | "Chronos-time" is no longer? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 98018
Radioman2, All translations come from the Greek text. Rev.10:6 uses the greek word "chronos" to distinguish the time in question from "kairos." These two words occur in the final instructions to Christians that they were not to be concerned with times and seasons (sing: chronos and kairos). Why? Not only because we must wait until we "know the End is Near" (Matt.24:33), but because Paul said we do not need instructions as to each chronos and kairos. Now, Rev.11:18 is the one specific "kairos" time that is the "appointed time for Saints to be judged and rewarded." It will come at the 7th Trumpet. "Chronos-time" ceases within 3 and one half days after the Beast kills the Two Prophets. Daniel's 1290 days of "chronological" time will be cut short to the kairoi time of 1260 days ... right to the last "appointed" day. (That is the special meaning of kairos). But Jesus said only the Father knows the appointed day of His coming because only the Father knows when the last "fellowservant is killed who must be killed" before God avenges their blood. Rev.6:9-11. Mel |

13 | Lastday, where are "invading armies"? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 44832
Since Jesus placed the Sign of Seal Six and His coming in glory during "one of the days" which follows the great tribulation ("after the great tribulation"; Mark 13:24; Matt.24:29), God must therefore require the armies of Rev.16:14-16 to cross the Euphrates and enter the land of Israel to "fight against the Lamb"...PRIOR to that Sign! Rev.10:6,7 shows "chronos time ends in the days when Trump 7 is about to sound that God's wrath has come"). Rev.17:14; Rev.11:18. The seven classes hiding in the mountains would not have time to do so on the day the sun turns dark! They come to know the Day of Wrath has arrived only after they hide from these armies. They do not acknowledge the Lamb's wrath has come until the sun turns dark; the heavens shake and the mountains begin to disappear. They cry out for falling rocks to shield them from God's wrath AFTER the sun darkens and Christ must appear. On that day the mountains and cities disappear during the "Hour of Trial" when Christ appears with "ALL the Saints...including those who have overcome to the end." Rev.16:18-21; Luke 21:35; Rev.3:10; I Thess.3:13; Rev.2:26. Jews will "know their redemption and kingdom are near" when these things occur. They will "beg to escape and to stand before the Son of Man"! Luke 21:28,31,36. Believers do not need to beg (Greek) because they will know the End is Near for 1260 days (plus up to 3 more days until the last martyr is killed and Trump 7 sounds. It sounds on the lastday after the Two Prophets rise up since Jesus said He will "raise up ALL believers on the lastday." Rev.11:7,11,15; John 6:38,40,44,54. Seal Six occurs "before the Day of Wrath" begins; but Seal Six, Seal Seven and Trump Seven occur on that same day or those waiting on Mt. Zion would not be "rescued" as millions wait in the "valley of decision." Joel 2:31,32; 3:14-17; Zech.14:12. Surviving Believers will have already proved they are worthy to meet the Lord. "Some (but not all) will taste death after" the Two Prophets finish demonstrating God's Kingdom Power for 1260 days. Mark 9:1. Trib-Saints will know better than to hide in the mountains! Except the 144,000 whom the Lamb rescues from Mt.Zion. Rev.14:1. Mel |

14 | Where are the "Seven Thunders"? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 44431
Amazingly, Rev.6:15,16 occurs on the same 12-Hour Day that Rev.16:15,16 and Rev.19:15,16 occur! On that Day Christ destroys the armies at Armageddon and rescues every believer as He promised. John 6:38-40. He will "gather the Elect from earth to heaven in the days after the great tribulation." Mark 13:24,27. No one can deny this truth that Jesus alone "raises up all believers before He sends the angels to gather them above and out of the four winds of heaven." Matt.24:31. The seven last plagues have been finished as of Rev.6:12 when the sun ceases to shine, the heavens are shaken, the stars fall, the islands move out of their places, the mountains disappear and the wicked disintegrate while standing in their tracks! Rev.16:19-21; Zech.14:12. The messages of the Seven Thunders, which John has not yet revealed, speak out in Rev.10:1-4. Because he alone knows their content; but also digested the book which he "sealed up" before learning that he must prophesy again...he alone is qualified to reveal to these seven classes of men that, as Seal Six opens on the Lastday, "The Wrath of the Lamb has come." These classes are hiding in unbelief before the sun turns dark! The point about the two groups is that one group acknowledges God's wrath has come after hiding from the armies at Armageddon. When Christ appears to destroy the wicked, God allows those who are hiding to either "call on the rocks to hide them from His wrath also...or, instead of seeking to save themselves, and remembering the promise of Joel 2:31,32, they may cry out to the Lord to deliver them from death. They "remember Lot's wife." Luke 17:32,33. The word "preserve" is the same as that used of "keeping Moses alive" when all the male babies were killed. Acts 7:19. Mel |

15 | "Seven classes" of men? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 44307
Hi Makarios There are two groups of "seven." Rev.6:15; 19:18. One group hides in the mountains to escape those who make up the armies invading Israel to fight against the Lamb. See Rev.17:14 and Rev.16:14. It is clear they are not exactly the same group as in 6:15. See final paragraph. Some "kings of the earth" gather against Christ in Rev.17:14; Rev.16:14 and Rev.19:19. And they hide in the mountains in Rev.6:15. They not only take part in "gathering their armies against Christ"; but also may turn tail and hide from them in the mountains. They all "know the wrath of the Lamb has come," but many Jews will not believe John's message until they see Christ appear and "know their kingdom is near." See Luke 21:28,31. Jesus addresses the Jews in this passage; and the Elect in Matt.24 and Mark 13. The Elect, after the tribuation, (mentioned in Matthew and Mark) are "gathered above" by Jesus before the Jews "know their kingdom is near." And even the "kings" who call on the Lord will be "rescued" from physical death. Joel 2:31,32 and Luke 17:33. They may not become saved to join the sheep nations; but may still be "kept alive" if they recognize they will die if they "seek to save themselves." These rescued kings will become separate heads of "sheep or goat nations" who will rise up during the Millennium to fight in the battle of Gog and Magog OR become the "kings and nations that bring their glory into the New Jerusalem." Rev.21:24,26. Click "archives" on my homepage, www.lastday.net to read Message number 348 on "sheep nations inheriting the eternal kingdom" while the goat nations are cast into Hell at the end of the Millennium to fulfill Matt.25:32,41! Note, of the seven, "rich men" are found only in the group that hide in the mountains. They are missing from the list "gathered against the Lamb" in Rev.19:18. "Horses" take the place of "rich men." 16 | Did Jesus consider more than One End? | Rev 2:26 | Lastday | 44274
Tribulation Martyrs "overcome to the END." You will note that Tribulation Martyrs win the reward offered to the Church in Rev.3:12 if they are "overcomers." Rev.7:14-17. They will "serve God day and night in the Temple of Heaven." They will not leave their place of service by "sitting on thrones to rule with Christ" (in heaven) for 1000 years. Rev.20:4,5. Only they enjoy the blessings in heaven 1000 years in advance of that promised to the Saints for all eternity. Compare Rev.7:16; Rev.21:4! Those in the Church who "overcome to the End," but do not suffer martyrdom, will "sit on thrones ON THE EARTH." Rev.2:25,26. Mel |

17 | John and Elijah as the Two Prophets? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 43925
Hi, Makarios. The primary reasons: John alone is equipped to reveal the 7 messages of the "little scroll" which he was told to eat AFTER being instructed to "seal the book" out of which 7 thunders spoke. Jesus told Peter that John might survive until He comes...not until He actually appears in glory, as John corrected the "rumor" in John 21:22...but until He comes in Kingdom Power through the Two Prophets for 42 months. Rev.12:10-14. No evidence exists that John was martyred. So he could "prophesy again before many nations and kings and tongues and peoples." Two voices spoke at once, one from heaven and the Mighty Angel, to reveal that, before "time ends at the 7th Trumpet, he will prophesy again. And they said" ...plural; legousin..."to me...you must prophesy again." Rev.10:6,7,11. Read my chapters on Two Prophets and Apostle at www.lastday.net Mel |

18 | Could Mark 9:1 refer to Acts 2:1ff? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 43182
When John wrote about those who will taste death during, as well as AFTER, the "NOW of God's kingdom power and of Christ's authority," he was anticipating death for those who will "overcome Satan for 42 months by their word of testimony and by the blood of the Lamb." Satan's Endtime expulsion from heaven coincides to the END with the "overcomers who suffer death." Rev.12:10,11. This is the only explicit reference you can find to those who taste death during "The NOW (time) of God's Kingdom Power... SOME will taste death (for three days) AFTER the Two Prophets display God's Kingdom Power for 1260 days. Rev.11:7,11. Because of "God's Kingdom Power and Christ's Authority," all of the 144,000 Jews will be "fed and kept safe" to the End. Mel lastday@pinn.net |

19 | Who wasn't going to taste death? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 42947
The time for "tasting death" occurs "after" Christ comes in kingdom power. "Standing HERE" occurs when Christ is "about (present tense)to come in glory to reward believers." Matt.16:27. "They (not YOU) will taste death" for up to three days after the Two Prophets finish their task to display "Christ's Authority." Rev.12:10; 11:7,11. "Some of them taste death" up to the Lastday. |
