For a child of God to ask that their faith be increased speakes of three things: -their desire to examplify and to express Christ according to the Will of God. -their inability to please God without faith. -their need to experience a closer relationship with God. The answer Jesus gave in Luk. 17:10 tell Christians to complete their responsibility. In other words, go to the limit of our faith that we have in him, and He will do the rest (How can the Lord give us more when we have not used what He has already given us. If our measure of faith contains that much power to believe in God through Jesus Christ and to save us, how much more faith do we need? The mustard seed example is not to say that our faith can be measured, but to tell us, no matter how small we may think our faith is, our faith has great unfailing potiential that we can not see with our natural eye). |
