1 | Heaven | 2 John 1:8 | Jesus777 | 174273
Hi Corin... Here I gathered some verses from the Scriptures that I pray would help you understand why is it that you'll be getting the pay -crown and grade to heaven as you said- and what for... This is what God asked us to do... Mark 16:15-And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved... So by doing this we are actually working for Him... 1 Corinthians 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will (A)receive his own reward according to his own labor. 2 John 1:8-NASB-Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward. Revelation 22:12-NKJV- And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. -He'll pay all people in full for their life's work. Which work? Where would our highest reward be? Everything you do for God here in this world will be paid, rewarded in heaven. For every person in need you help, for every person you get to come to Gods pathway helping them making sense of their sins and repenting, ALL of that will be rewarded. Hope this humble explenation can help you with your question. In Christ Love, Jesus777 |

2 | II Cor. 5:17 | 1 Cor 1:2 | Jesus777 | 174225
Hi there,wisdom111... According to what we can read in these verses and agreeing with what brother Mark is saying we shall come to understanding that we already ARE Saints 1Pet 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light Psalm 30:4 -KJV- Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. Psalm 34:9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. Psalm 50:5 gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. 1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever. 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. Even thou we have not gather all to be complete saints we should be looking to become like Him as the Bible says. We shall All met that Holiness when God come for us. That’s the reason why we should keep trying to be as He is, and conquer the eternal life. Glory be thy Name! In Christ Jesus777 |

3 | simplify joshua 1:1-18 | Josh 1:1 | Jesus777 | 173992
hi lanoire: I don't know what exactly is that you don’t understand but I am adding this explanation from the Bible The Message, which is pretty good, and I pray it can help you understand the chapter better. Joshua 1:1-18-The Message- 1-9 After the death of Moses the servant of God, God spoke to Joshua, Moses' assistant: "Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I'm giving to the People of Israel. I'm giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on—just as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River—all the Hittite country—and then west to the Great Sea. It's all yours. All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I'll be with you. I won't give up on you; I won't leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don't get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you're going. And don't for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you'll get where you're going; then you'll succeed. Haven't I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take." The Taking of the Land 10-11 Then Joshua gave orders to the people's leaders: "Go through the camp and give this order to the people: 'Pack your bags. In three days you will cross this Jordan River to enter and take the land God, your God, is giving you to possess.'" 12-15 Then Joshua addressed the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh. He said, "Remember what Moses the servant of God commanded you: God, your God, gives you rest and he gives you this land. Your wives, your children, and your livestock can stay here east of the Jordan, the country Moses gave you; but you, tough soldiers all, must cross the River in battle formation, leading your brothers, helping them until God, your God, gives your brothers a place of rest just as he has done for you. They also will take possession of the land that God, your God, is giving them. Then you will be free to return to your possession, given to you by Moses the servant of God, across the Jordan to the east." 16-18 They answered Joshua: "Everything you commanded us, we'll do. Wherever you send us, we'll go. We obeyed Moses to the letter; we'll also obey you—we just pray that God, your God, will be with you as he was with Moses. Anyone who questions what you say and refuses to obey whatever you command him will be put to death. Strength! Courage!" God bless, Jesus777 |

Continuation of study... The Holy Spirit 1-He promised it------- John 14:16-NASV- "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. 18"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19"After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. 20"In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21"He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him." 22Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?" 23Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 2-He will teach us everything------- John 14:26-NASV-"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 3-He will give us the power-------Acts 1:8-NASB-but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, 4-Pentecostal Baptism------- Acts 2:3-NASV-And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. 5-When received, you can both see and hear ------- Acts2:33-NASV-"Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear. 6-Can be seen when received------- Acts 8:14-NASV-Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, 15who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17Then they began laying their hands on them, and they were receiving the Holy Spirit. 18Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was bestowed through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money, 7-Signal that you have received it------- Acts 10:44-NASV-While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message. 45All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered, 47"Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?" 8-Signal of the tongues------- 2He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they said to him, "No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit." 3And he said, "Into what then were you baptized?" And they said, "Into John's baptism." 4Paul said, "John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus." 5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. 9-One feels when receiving the gift------- 37Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'" 39But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. 10-Jesus ordered to be received------- John 20:22-NASV-And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 11-Be filled with him------- Ephesians 5:18-NASV-And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, and Acts 13:52-NASV-And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. 12-We must receive it------- Acts 11:15-NASV-"And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as He did upon us at the beginning. 16"And I remembered the word of the Lord, how He used to say, 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' Ask the Father and He Will give you The Holy Spirit -- Luke 11:13-NASV-"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?" Pray to God that everyone that reads the study is bless in the name of Jesus. In Christ, Jesus777 |

I have a study that would like to share with the forum and could be of great appreciation and benefit to all… 1-Signals that Christ left us------- Mark 16:15-NASB-And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 2-You have the Lord’s Power------- John 14:12-KJV-Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 3-The fruits of the Spirit------- Galatians 5:22-NASV- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 4-Gifts of the Spirit------- 1 Corinthians 12:7–NASV-But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. 11But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. 5-If you work for Christ------- 2 Corinthians 2:14-NASV-But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. 15For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; 16to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life and who is adequate for these things? 17For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God. 6-Spirit gives testimony------- Romans 8:14-NASV-For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!" 16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 7-You live for Christ------- 2 Corinthians 5:15-NASV-and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. 8-You are new creature------- 2 Corinthians 5:17-NASV-Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 9-If you reject desires of the flesh------- Galatians 6:8-NASV-For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 10-They have crucified the flesh------- Galatians 5:24-NASV-Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Is Christ Living and Pronouncing Himself Through You, Without Him You’ll return to The same Or Worse Condition Than before |

He only had one wife as far as I can find, and tow sons...1 Chronicles 23:15-NIV-15 The sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer. 5-6 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, brought Moses his sons and his wife there in the wilderness where he was camped at the mountain of God. He had sent a message ahead to Moses: "I, your father-in-law, am coming to you with your wife and two sons." |

7 | Is that love, as God demands of us? | Rom 5:5 | Jesus777 | 173682
Hi, AyoKunle... I just something that came to mind as I was reading your question, I pray this can help you with your concern. Matthew 1:18-25 KJV 18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. ...As you can clearly see they never had any contact before marriage... 19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. ...Back then if they found that the woman they married was not virgin they could make it public and shamed her giving her back to her parents... 22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. ...And in here you can see that the angel is telling Joseph that it was the way to happen through a VIRGIN... Even more I found something else in… Hebrews 13:4 KJV Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 The Message Jesus Doesn't Change 1-4Stay on good terms with each other, held together by love. Be ready with a meal or a bed when it's needed. Why, some have extended hospitality to angels without ever knowing it! Regard prisoners as if you were in prison with them. Look on victims of abuse as if what happened to them had happened to you. Honor marriage, and guard the sacredness of sexual intimacy between wife and husband. God draws a firm line against casual and illicit sex. ...This is a very nice explanation in here, which I couldn’t, probably done it better. God bless and pray to God this information was of some help to you and who ever had the same concern as you. Humble servant of God, Jesus777 |

10 | should we confess to a priest or not? | Heb 4:14 | Jesus777 | 173587
I pray to God this can be of some help to you and anyone else who haves the same question God bless you. Hebrews 4:14 The Message The Message MSG Copyright © 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002 by Eugene H. Peterson 14-16Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let's not let it slip through our fingers. We don't have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let's walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. Luke 11:2-13 King James Version 2And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3Give us day by day our daily bread. 4And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. 1 John 1:9 King James Version 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |

11 | Can name be blotted out of Lamb's book? | Bible general Archive 3 | Jesus777 | 173584
Hi to everyone. I read every comment on this question and even thou my English is not as good as yours, -expressing my self in writing-, I felt the need to contribute the forum with this which I pray to God will open a different point of view of being saved and keeping the salvation till the end. I hope I explained my self correctly and everyone can understand me. Matthew 24 King James Version 4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I do enjoy the forum a lot, even thou I have a different point of vew on some things that are being explained, but again because I have a lil problem with expresing my self in English is kind of hard for me to comment. But for those that are explaining the word of God correctly God bless you ALL and dont ever change because as the Word of God says: "Matthew 18:6 (New King James Version) Jesus Warns of Offenses 6 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Mark 9:42 NKJV and Luke 17:2 American Standard Version |

12 | what types of trials? | James 1:2 | Jesus777 | 173382
James 1 (King James Version):2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; How to have patience in the tests (temptations)? The tests of the faith give by fruit the patience (that is to say, the capacity to resist), that is the distinguishing mark of the true believer. Only under the pressure of the tests can the believer prove the true depth of its faith in God. The heart signs did not vacillate, but it was enjoyed in the knowledge of the kindness of God. |
