1 | Who made Sunday a day of worship | Bible general Archive 1 | Jason | 42695
Christians starting observing Sunday as a day of worship because that is the day Christ rose (the day after the Jewish Sabbath which was Saturday) The Bible says to observe a day of rest or sabbath (Ex 20) but that can be any day as long as it is once every seven days. My pastor observes his day of rest on Monday. Hope this helps. Peace |

2 | Explain Mathew 19:30 | Matt 19:30 | Jason | 42417
He was saying that those who are first according to our world will not have the same place in heaven. We value money, material posesions, power, and looks in our society. Those who are first in that context will be last in the kingdom of heaven, but those who humble themselves in our society will be first among His children in the kingdom. Read also, Mark 10:42-45. To be a servant to each other (Gal 6:2) and bare each others burdens is one of our primary missions as Christians.
