Perhaps Philippians 3:7-14 will shed some light on that. Humble Pi
2 | Why does paul start with this topic. | Eph 4:1 | Humble Pi | 150479
Hi shael: I think the answer is found in the word THEREFORE. This indicates a continuation from the previous verses. In Ephesians 3:14-21, Paul prays one of the most awesome and profound prayers for "every family in heaven and on earth", that means us, you and me. Once we get the truths of that prayer (who we are and what we are in Christ) deep into our hearts, we can walk in the manner worthy of our calling; we can become a prisoner of our LORD. I hope this is helpful, shael. Humble Pi |
