1 | my mother is disowning me | Bible general Archive 2 | Glory_Bound | 136677
Miss1022 It is impossible for anyone herein to give you any intelligent advise other than to take this matter to the Lord in prayer, and seek Christian counseling. Keep in mind that a child needs the love of the grandparents as well as the parents. What ever you do, be an example you can be proud of in this matter. It sounds like your Mother may have a deep-rooted problem. I would suggest a prayerful and loving approach on your part, no matter how painful this may seem at the time. I am sure you have heard the old saying, "kill them with kindness." One can also love and change them with kindness. May the infinite grace of our Lord and Savior be with you and yours. GB |

2 | Where's the LOVE | Matt 12:34 | Glory_Bound | 136426
Thank you Asis. Not only do I thank you for your wise and insightful revelation, but for the courrage, wisdom and truth you attempt to share with the so many who claim sight, but simply refuse to see. GB |

3 | masturbation to get out from under sin | Bible general Archive 1 | Glory_Bound | 136391
You have stated, "I cannot claim to be as wise or knowledgeable." Perhaps then you will appreciate the value of some wisdom and knowledge. For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit. Ecc 2:26 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2Ti 2:16 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Eph 5: 3. GB |

5 | If Jesus died for our sins | Rom 5:12 | Glory_Bound | 136383
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: When God created Adam and Eve, He created them perfect and sinless. He did not then, nor does he now want "mindless robots," so He gave them a free will. He also told them what they were "not" to do. It was in doing what the Creator had told them not to do, that sin entered the scene. Read Genesis chapter 3 for firsthand enlightenment. We are born of flesh. Scripture plainly states that the flesh is sinful. It is through the nourishment of the bread of life, which is the Word of God, which is God, that the sin of the flesh is clensed by the blood of Christ, who is God, became flesh and died, sinless for the sins of all who are flesh, who would only believe. I pray this answers your question. GB |

7 | were pharisees married? | Matt 23:27 | Glory_Bound | 136374
Much like many today, known by names other than what would be more biblically discriptive, the Pharisees were noted for their strict observance of rites and cerimonies of the written law and for insistence on the validity of "their own oral traditions" concerning the law. As to your question, there is no biblical answer. GB |

8 | church authority, pastors, elders | 1 Tim 3:4 | Glory_Bound | 136301
You may wish to first research the qualifications for Pastors and Elders. 1 Timothy 3 and the Book of Titus would be a good start. The role of children to Parents is a good example. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Gb |

9 | sex in marriage what does the bible say | Eph 5:24 | Glory_Bound | 136299
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Eph 5:20-25 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. Eph 5:28 Christ expects consideration on both sides of the marriage. GB |
