1 | Does someone have an answer? | Eph 6:17 | Elder Eva | 128443
It seems that because of the reference Jesus made after the disciples told Jesus that they had two swords "it is enough". That he was not suggesting that each disciple get a sword, but rather this was a warning to his disciples that his time for crucifixtion was near and that the times were going to experience a might shift from the freedom to spread the gosple - to acts of murder against those who named the name of Christ. And rightly so, for after Christ's passion the desciples and all apostles all suffered great persecutions, murder, and trials.
