Sassy, in the begining God gave man every herb, and every fruit for meat.(see Gen.1:29) After the flood, for the first time recorded, God gave man meat from "every moving thing that liveth" (animals). He also gives requirements on how to prepare it (it is to be cooked not raw).(see Gen.9:1-4) DWF |

3 | Divorce or Putting Away ? | Matt 5:32 | DWF | 39230
First of all I'm not disputing what you're saying, but I've searched and can't find a difference between putting away and divorce. God hates divorce, marriage is sacred and eternal, He never intended for couples to seperate except for when one dies. The problem began in back in Moses' time. People got whinney and unhappy in marriage and wanted to be justified in "divorcing" their wives. So Moses said that if someone's spouse became unfaithful, then he could lawfully divorce her. But that was the only lawful excuse for divorce.(see Matt.19:7-9) In His service DWF |

4 | What if God did not join them tohether? | Bible general Archive 1 | DWF | 39224
Weather or not two people get married within the will of God, or outside His will, they are married. Marriage is the first (Gen.2:24) and most important institution found in the bible. The second ofcourse being the church. I say marriage is first because it takes marriage and family to form the church. God's intention from the very begining was for one man and one woman to be united, and stay that way until one of them died. This is documented throughout the scripture. When a couple gets married these rules apply even if God had not intented for them to be married. The point is that they are married now, and its up to them to seek Gods direction in making it work. When people marry they take vows before God and He requires us to keep them. (Deut.23:21,Eccl.5:4,Num.30:2) In His service DWF |
