3 | How do you worship god | John 4:23 | DD4Truth | 226570 | ||
This verse answers the how.... in that we are to worship God in spirit and truth. To worship God in spirit we must have the right heart or attitude toward God. In truth means we should worship God according the pattern He has given us in the Bible, specifically the New Testament. Worship has its roots in the word wothship. In general, a being or thing one considers worthy of devotion. More specifically, worshipping God involves a deep sense of awe and devotion understanding His nature and majesty versus us as his creation. I hope this helps. DD4Truth |

(The verses in I Pet 3:18 - 3:22 refer to the actions of Jesus during the construction of the ark.) ....or you may be referring to Rev 1:18 "...I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." .....here He is talking about His sovereignty over Death and Hades. |
