1 | Who does the Father draw to Christ? | John 6:44 | Charliechuck | 212749 | ||
Well, it looks like I started something interesting. Spurgeon was asked once how he divided between free will and election. His response was, "I never separate two friends." It is a mystery, however, I lean toward Brother Morant. The word "all" I think is "pas" (G3596-Strongs) and it sure seems to mean each and every, the whole,everyone, all things, everything." It can also mean "some of all types." One would have to know the tense etc of the Greek language to interpret in which sence it was meant here in John 12:32. I don't know it. However, Strong's Greek dictionary defines this "pas" as to mean, including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole:--all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), X daily, ever, every (one, way), as many as, no(-thing), X thoroughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever." I'll let you brains figure it out. Thanks for the feedback! |
