1 | Did Paul write the Laodiceans? | Col 4:16 | Blaze | 9189
Yes, Some theologians believe it to be the first letter sent to Corinth. However, there is a letter from Paul to Laodocia in the NT Apocrypha. It is very short and doesn't contain much doctrinally. So it doesn't appear to be a fake. It evens has Paul's style. Not to mention, it ended with a similar charge as Colossians 4:16, telling the Laodocians to read the Collossians letter as well as share theirs. It wasn't recognized as inspired because it wasn't circulated or used much by the early church. |

2 | where was good hell b4 Abrahams bossom? | Luke 16:19 | Blaze | 4473
In the OT they went to Sheol (the abode of the dead), which is called Hades in the NT. Christ called it 'Paradise' when talking to the thief (Luke 23:43). I'm sure it was the same before Abraham died. Some of the non-canonical books, such as the Gospel of Nicodemus, refer to the same place and indicate that Adam and Seth along with several others were there too. |

3 | Are Christians commanded to eat meat? | 1 Corinthians | Blaze | 2484
Origionally we (all humans and animals including the dinosaurs)were to be vegetarians: Genesis 1:29-30 Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food''; and it was so Then we were told it is okay to eat meat as well: Genesis 9:3 "Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. Then in Leviticus Jews were told not to eat 'unclean' meat (see Leviticus 11). Christ fulfilled that ceremonial law and declared everything clean (okay to eat): Mark 7 17 When he had left the crowd and entered the house, His disciples questioned Him about the parable. 18 And He said to them, "Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him, 19 because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?" (Thus He declared all foods clean.) See also Acts 11 Romans 14:14 I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to him who thinks anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. Yes, Jesus ate meat. He ate fish: Luke 24:42 They gave Him a piece of a broiled fish; He also celebrated the Passover, which required the eating of a lamb: Matthew 26:17 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?" |

4 | angels have no forgiveness when they sin | 1 Pet 3:18 | Blaze | 2476
I am not sure the nature of your question. Do the angels have a chance to repent? Possibly. 1 Peter 3 18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; 19 in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison, 20 who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water. It is believed by some that this passage refers to fallen angels who became men at the time of Noah. If so, then they did get a chance to repent. Did Adam and Eve get a chance to repent? Yes, four simple evidences: First, the Gospel was preached to them in Genesis 3:15. Second, God shed blood for them immdiately. Genesis 3:21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them. The garments were of skin. An animal had to die. Matthew 26:28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. Third, they knew how to sacrafice. Cain and Abel were taught the proper way - shed blood. See Genesis 4. Fifth, Adam lived to be 935 (Genesis 5:5). He was around when Noah was born. From Adam to Noah (Adam, Seth... Noah), if you put the meaning of their names together, it is the Gospel. Adam and Eve knew God would provide a savior. |

5 | I need clarification please | 1 Corinthians | Blaze | 2474
God knows everything, including the end from the beginning. ISAIAH 42:9 "Behold, the former things have come to pass, Now I declare new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you." ISAIAH 44:7 "Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; Yes, let him recount it to Me in order, From the time that I established the ancient nation. And let them declare to them the things that are coming And the events that are going to take place. ISAIAH 45:11 Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, And you shall commit to Me the work of My hands. ISAIAH 46 9 "Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; ISAIAH 48 5 Therefore I declared them to you long ago, Before they took place I proclaimed them to you, So that you would not say, 'My idol has done them, And my graven image and my molten image have commanded them.' 6 "You have heard; look at all this. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you new things from this time, Even hidden things which you have not known. DANIEL 2 28 "However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed. 29 "As for you, O king, while on your bed your thoughts turned to what would take place in the future; and He who reveals mysteries has made known to you what will take place. MATTHEW 6:8 "So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Here's the kicker, He knew it would happen and yet He still created us. Based on Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. then the our falling is actually better in the end than if we hadn't. |
