1 | Are the ten commandments abolished? | Bible general Archive 4 | jlpangilinan | 235724
For Christians we are not justified by the law of Moses... Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. although Christ said: Mt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. the question is... Did Christ follow the law of Moses the way Jewish did? for example the Sabbath Mt 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. Moses taught the people of Israel not to go out on Sabbath day.. Jer 17:22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. Maybe Christ would like to gave us example how to follow the law... we can think about it... |

2 | law,ordinances ,statutes and judgments | Bible general Archive 4 | jlpangilinan | 235735
we are not under the law of moses or the 10 commandments... because the law of moses cannot justified us. Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Jesus Christ clearly taught that the 10 commandments or the law of Moses is not applicable to Christian. Mt 5:21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: Mt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. in the time of Moses person has to kill before he transgress the law of "thou shall not kill" or the 10 commandments. in Christ teaching whosoever call his brethren "raca" shall be in danger of fire... aside from that under the 10 commandments there should be enough witnesses before you can condemn someone of transgressions. De 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death. under the teaching of Christ it is between you and God. For example the commandments of adultery in the old testament it has to be committed before you can be condemn of transgressions of the law. under the teaching of Christ person can be committed adultery even in the lust of the eye... Mt 5:27 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: Mt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. no need for witnesses... again it is between you and God. Jesus Christ gave us the 2 new commandments: Mr 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Mr 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Now let me ask you some questions... what is it in the 10 commandments that is not included in these 2 new commandments if we follow the new? Thank you... |

3 | Jesus responds | Bible general Archive 3 | jlpangilinan | 163031
Bible proved that Jesus Christ is God. That time when jews want to stone Him Jesus really is in His human form. Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: If he is really not God and only a man, why He have to made himself equal to men? these verses is talking about Jesus Christ Joh 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. it mentioned there "and the Word, (Jesus Christ)was made flesh (born of mary). If Christ is already flesh, (man) why He must be made flesh, if already a flesh? God bless, |

4 | can I eat shellfish? | Bible general Archive 3 | jlpangilinan | 166086
Yes you can, It is prohibited in the Old Testament as very part of the law of moses. Le 11:12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you. apostle paul, said in NT Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. In Acts Ac 10:15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Whom are we going to listen? Moses or Christ. Mt 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. God bless, |

5 | Christians with demon oppression | Bible general Archive 3 | jlpangilinan | 166530
Sometimes not all of those pray or call in Jesus name was granted. Ac 19:13 ¶ Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. Ac 19:14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. Ac 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? Ac 19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Even the desciples sometimes could not cast them out because of thier unbelief. Mt 17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? Mt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. I am not saying that your friend has the same unbelief, I just show some example that evil really is not easy enemy and we need faith to defeated them. I maybe not answered your questioned correctly or directly, but as I said I show some example about demons. It is better to asked help to those people you know that had faith in Christ, a pastor, deacons or the likes, to pray over your friend, I know and I believed that "In Jesus Name" your friend will be free against that demons you said. God bless, |

6 | But what makes them the same creation? | Bible general Archive 3 | jlpangilinan | 182193
Genesis Chapter 1 explain the whole creation, from heavens, earth, plants, animal, etc. etc. meaning its explain the whole creation. In. Gen Chapter2, Moses wrote specify on how God created them, for example what is the process when God created "man" or adam. if we consider in chapter one,it was mentioned the man created (male and female) Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. while in Chapter 2 explain on how God created them in His own images, its explain the process of how God created man, (male and female) Ge 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Ge 2:21 ¶ And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; Ge 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Ge 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. If moses did not explain in Chapter 2 the process of creation of man, we all have no idea that the female is not created directly from the dust but it was taken from the rib of adam... it is talking the same creation, the only difference is that account in Gen. Chapter 1 is talking the creation of man while chapter 2 is talking the process of how God created them God bless, |

7 | PROVE ME: God's challenge to tithers | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 102472
Tithes is commanded to israelites not for the Christian. De 5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. De 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. It is given specific for them! if there fathers is not included in that covenant, it is likely not for you. Tithes is included in the law, according to paul it cannot justify us: Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Christ and the apostle did not observed this, infact there is no record even an single action that the apostle take the tithes of thier members and given it to Christ. Giving is not by percentage, any purposes of the heart: 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. If Giving ten percent is purposeth of your heart and not a requirement it is acceptable to God. But if someone asked you to give that or you are the one requiring your member to gave that it is against to the teaching of Christ. God bless, |

9 | Will we be learning in Heaven? | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 114225
We dont know what will be our duty in heaven. 1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. It said that the things God prepared for us are the things that no ear heard, neither to have entered the heart of man, meaning its a big SURPRISE!!!! The only thing we know is that we "as angels of God in heaven. Mt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. God bless, |

10 | Heaven and the Old Testament | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 117226
You may consider this Elijah was taken into heaven by a whirl wind, if we believed that Elijah was taken into heaven (Kingdom of God) it will contradict the assessment of John that no one ascended to heaven but that came from heaven which is Jesus Christ. Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. The explaination of "heaven" in 2 kings 2:11-12 is the fowls heaven. (a) The firmament, as "fowls of the heaven" (Ge 2:19; 7:3,23; Ps 8:8, etc.), "the eagles of heaven" (La 4:19), etc. (b) The starry heavens (De 17:3; Jer 8:2; Mt 24:29). (c) "The heaven of heavens," or "the third heaven" (De 10:14; 1Ki 8:27; Ps 115:16; 148:4; 2Co 12:2). Because of the limitation of the vision of the eye, writers indicate that Elijah was taken into heaven. About enoch, Paul assess all of them are died in faith. Enoch was translated but died in faith. Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. If believed that not died, again, it will contradict the assessment of Paul that it is appointed to man to die once after this the judgement. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: About luke 23:24 if we just plainly believed literally about the statement of Christ, it is not true, are they really in paradise on that day? NO Christ was descended to grave in three days, after three days rose again and o many things before go to heaven. God bless, |

The person committing suicide is not a save person. If you are save it is not yourself live in you but Christ. Ga 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. If Christ lives in you, how come He will let you committing suicide. 1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. The body of a save person is a temple of Holy Ghost, I dont think you are glorifying God in your body while committing suicide! God bless, |

12 | scriptures about prayer | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 117474
Example of power of prayers are Jos 10:12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 12. Easton Torrey Jos 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. Jos 10:14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. Josua prayed for sun and moon to stay! (althought we in science that sun stay and it is the earth going around) God granted his prayer. Christ emphazise the power of prayer if you have faith! Mt 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. He also said with faith, Christ will do anything that ask from Him: Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Kind of prayer that pleasing to God. Mt 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Christ said that avoid repetitions, because knew the things that we want before we asking for it. Mt 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Mt 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. God bless, |

13 | Bible version can become an idol? | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 117505
Translation becomes an idol if the translators translate the original manuscipts just to suit thier own doctrine. For example the Jehovas witnessess, one of the changes that they add and remove to the Bible was the word "JEHOVAH" almost all of the word "LORD" "GOD" was change into the word "Jehovah". This is clearly an add remove which was prohibited by the Bible. Re 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: The Bible itself is a complete in terms of doctrine and commandments on how to gain eternal life. Isa 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. IF no one of the word of the Bible shall fail, how could it be become an idol? 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: All scriptures is given by inspiration of God it will not become an idol because it is the word of God. 14 | What are all the names of the Lord? | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 119231
The name of God the Father is Father: Isa 63:16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting. Father is His name from everlasting, others just a invention of men putting addidtion in original tetra YHWH. Christ confirm it in NT that the name of His Father is Father by calling HIM our Father My Father. Mt 7:21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Lu 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. He is not calling Him our Jehovah my Jehovah or my Yaweh or whatsoever. The name of the Father is Father. God bless, |

16 | do i have to worship loudly? | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 124923
Worshiping is not just how loud or noise it is, the important is do you really praise Him in your heart? Mt 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Mt 6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Mt 6:5 ¶ And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Mt 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 19 | who were the Sadducces and Parisees | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 127807
Here are information about them, you can find it your self in the scriptures following the quoted chapters and verses. EASTON BIBLE DICTIONARY ENTRY ON: Sadducees The origin of this Jewish sect cannot definitely be traced. It was probably the outcome of the influence of Grecian customs and philosophy during the period of Greek domination. The first time they are met with is in connection with John the Baptist's ministry. They came out to him when on the banks of the Jordan, and he said to them, "O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?" (Mt 3:7.) The next time they are spoken of they are represented as coming to our Lord tempting him. He calls them "hypocrites" and "a wicked and adulterous generation" (Mt 16:1-4; 22:23). The only reference to them in the Gospels of Mark (Mr 12:18-27) and Luke (Lu 20:27-38) is their attempting to ridicule the doctrine of the resurrection, which they denied, as they also denied the existence of angels. They are never mentioned in John's Gospel. There were many Sadducees among the "elders" of the Sanhedrin. They seem, indeed, to have been as numerous as the Pharisees (Ac 23:6). They showed their hatred of Jesus in taking part in his condemnation (Mt 16:21; 26:1-3,59; Mr 8:31; 15:1; Lu 9:22; 22:66). They endeavoured to prohibit the apostles from preaching the resurrection of Christ (Ac 2:24,31-32; 4:1-2; 5:17,24-28). They were the deists or sceptics of that age. They do not appear as a separate sect after the destruction of Jerusalem. EASTON BIBLE DICTIONARY ENTRY ON: Pharisees separatists (Heb persahin, from parash, "to separate"). They were probably the successors of the Assideans (i.e., the "pious"), a party that originated in the time of Antiochus Epiphanes in revolt against his heathenizing policy. The first mention of them is in a description by Josephus of the three sects or schools into which the Jews were divided (B.C. 145). The other two sects were the Essenes and the Sadducees. In the time of our Lord they were the popular party (Joh 7:48). They were extremely accurate and minute in all matters appertaining to the law of Moses (Mt 9:14; 23:15; Lu 11:39; 18:12). Paul, when brought before the council of Jerusalem, professed himself a Pharisee (Ac 23:6-8; 26:4-5). There was much that was sound in their creed, yet their system of religion was a form and nothing more. Theirs was a very lax morality (Mt 5:20; 15:4,8; 23:3,14,23,25; Joh 8:7). On the first notice of them in the New Testament (Mt 3:7), they are ranked by our Lord with the Sadducees as a "generation of vipers." They were noted for their self-righteousness and their pride (Mt 9:11; Lu 7:39; 18:11-12). They were frequently rebuked by our Lord (Mt 12:39; 16:1-4). From the very beginning of his ministry the Pharisees showed themselves bitter and persistent enemies of our Lord. They could not bear his doctrines, and they sought by every means to destroy his influence among the people. God bless, |

20 | Where did Jesus get His blood from | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 13094
I will try to help answer your question, you can inform me if it is valid for you. First you must believed Jesus Christ (Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh)and there is no ORIGINAL SIN: 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Second You must believed that Jesus Christ is NoT one of CREATION but all things created by him and for Him: Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: He which were born not of Blood, how He could be a sinner like us? John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. HE CANNOT SIN, BECUASE HE IS BORN OF GOD 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. There still too many verses will explain your question but I hope I answered some of them? Please let me know if it is valid for you. In Christ, Johnny |
