1 | Ezekiel study guide recs? | Ezekiel | tellicojoe | 119434
Ezekiel- This is, I think, the last frontier for me. Do you have any recommendations for study guides to help me get through the book? It has grand stories, but the in between is so dry I have never made it through this book in its entirety, and I would like a read-along guide, mostly to push me through the book and keep me interested. Thank you for any recommendations you may have.

3 | Misprint online or HC, confuses meaning | 1 Cor 6:18 | tellicojoe | 99498
your response outlines in more detail my question. Using this site's online resourse, porneia is the word translate here in NASB as immorality. However, in my hard copy NASB Hebrew-Greek Keyword Study Bible, the number by "immorality" is 265, corresponding to hamartema, "sin." Hamartema is the same word used later in the verse to refer to "every other sin." One of these resources must have a misprint as to what the original Greek word is, do you know which it is? Also, in 7:2, it uses (this time, porneia, the correct word for sexual sin) just "immoralities" in the NASB instead of sexual immoralities, as other versions use. I feel that this is a strong point Paul was trying to get across, and the designation of sexual versus all immorality seems important to the lession. The whole point seems to be keeping the body holy for God, so it's important to know what is sinning against the body. It is especially confusing because of the references beginning at 6:12 about food and the body. obviously, the ideal is not to sin at all, but for the purpose of studying this passage please help me clarify what I am reading. |

4 | Specifying sexual sin in 1 Cor 6:18 | 1 Cor 6:18 | tellicojoe | 99488
Why is the NASB the only translation that leaves out reference to sexual immorality? All other translations/versions that I've seen (KJV,NKJV, Amplified, NIV, NCV, ASV) specify sexual immorality. Just wondering what the original text says, and why this was omitted. Thanks
