1 | maipulation... | Bible general Archive 4 | ssongssu | 197113 | ||
Let's say a very storng government wants to make other two weak governments fight each other so they can profit from it. It is easy for the strong governments to manipulate the two weak govenments and its people to hate each other and fight each other. Possibly using religion, propaganda, false events etc... The two governments will fight each other to death in the name of justice. And meanwhile the strong governments will profit from the two governments and its people's ignorance. Often times that's what war is. There is always a third party who profits form it. The ones who fight for their people and freedom and justice, so called brave ones, end up serving the interests of the third party, the one who started the war in the first place. No matter how patriotic a person might have been defending his country, the person ends up serving for the third party at the end. Don't you see the same thing happening right now as we speak? War in Iraq? Terrorists? Why don't we just let the greedy be greedy? take over the world if they wanted to. Aren't we all going to be dead soon or later after all? How do you justfy defending your freedom, if that freedom comes from killing other humans, also called brave ones. Isn't it time humanity look at the bigger picture of what is going on and has been going on for the past thousands of years? And stop being a part of endless cycle of being manipulated to wars? |

Killing someone because someone has murdered someone? Wouldn't it be more christian to find out what were the motives of the murderer and try to fix his problems? |

Let's say I was one of the Moravian Indians. And I didn't fight back because I believed killing is bad. What harm could it do to the earth? To hummanity? So where does the real problem lies? Isn't that the soldeirs who massacred them with 'just' and 'holy' weapons? The mind of christianity that believes in "just" and "holy" wars? |
