1 | Are there different heavenly rewards? | 2 Tim 1:9 | slide_m46 | 119185
Can someone help me with scriptural support or denial of levels of reward in heaven. Based on the judgement we will all face, and our salvation through Christ Jesus, how do we understand being judged? Are there different rewards for different people based on their works on earth? Thank you very much, Big Al |

2 | Judged already??? | John 3:18 | slide_m46 | 77957
In John 3:18 our Lord says that "he who does not believe has been judged already." Does anyone have an opinion about this statement and how it may or may not relate to the Father's foreknowledge, predestination, etc.? Do these people not have a chance to repent? I am curioous as to the meaning and intention of these words. In Him....

4 | Who does the Father draw to Christ? | John 6:44 | slide_m46 | 76032
Is their scriptural support for the concept that the Father draws EVERYONE to Christ, or just some of us? I am leaning toward the idea, through intense study, that the Father does not draw all of us to Him. If He did draw us to Him, how could we as puny humans resist the will of the Almighty God who created all things? Also, since some are obviously NOT saved, if Christ died for all, then regarding those who are NOT saved His Holy and perfect sacrifice would have at least in part, relative to those lost, be a failure. I cannot believe that Christ's sacrifice was anything other than a perfect success, and hence He will lose none that the Father has given Him..consequently, I am wondering if He did die for all, or for "all the Father gave Him. Does anyone have any thoughts to share that might help me to understand this better? |

6 | Are there any "people" created by Satan? | Gen 2:7 | slide_m46 | 75801
Could the devil have created some "people" who now inhabit this earth and they make up those who are not saved. If someone thinks so, then is there any scriptural support for such an idea? Thanks. |

7 | Go and sin no more? | John | slide_m46 | 45692
Can someone help me to understand the comments of an "Amateur Theologian" that part of the book of John where Jesus told the woman to "go and sin no more" was NOT a part of the "earliest and best manuscripts"? I have always believed that quote to be part of the bible and it WAS part of every translation I could find... Who's right? |

8 | Help with Hosea???? | Hos 13:14 | slide_m46 | 30648
Can U all help me in refuting an unbelievers contention that the Lord our God is a vile and crule God? She uses Hosea, wherein it is described that "babies will be ripped from wombs, and their heads dashed on the rocks." I need some scriptural support for telling her that God was "warning" His people about their disobedience. Can anyone help me? slide_m46@yahoo.com
9 | Book of Hosea, "ripping babies from womb | Hosea | slide_m46 | 30641
This book refers to ripping babies from the wombs of women and dashing their heads against the rocks. How do I explain this to an unbeliever, who uses the verses to "prove" her point that God is cruel and vile. Of course I do not believe it but I cannot explain to her that God was "warning" His people about their sin, and disobedience. Help me with some scriptural back up to gain understanding. Thanks, slide_m46@yahoo.com |
