1 | what then is the judgement of teachers | James 3:1 | sharonaharris | 55510
Thank you , your answer does help.....one thing further, the judgement of believers specifically teachers being more strictly judged....what is this judgement then if a teacher should be found severly wanting in their message - what exactly is the judgement for believers where 'strictly' certainly indicates warning and also alludes to levels of consequences - if we are in heaven because we have believed and confessed that belief - why such a strident warning against even mistakes in teaching? (not refering to purposeful false teachers in this question)
2 | do teachers agree on issue of lost salva | James 3:1 | sharonaharris | 55507
Some teachers who are believers strictly teach that salvation once received can not be lost - some 'fruit' can be lost - joy, peace, even some blessings - but they teach that salvation can not be lost.....can someone help me with this? scripture, thoughts??? Is salvation truly secured from God with the 'confession that Christ is personal savior, that Christ is the son of God and that Christ died for our sins on the cross and was resurrected'? or do we as believers have to perservere in obedience to the end before salvation is insured? and what of the teachers that teach the 'wrong' message....this would seem to be an essential message for teachers to get 'right' and there remains quite allot of disagreement among teachers on this issue.
