Your sentence therefore be evidenced and attested to by our sharing in Christ's sufferings hits it on the head...at least that's my gut feeling...2nd if relates to sharing in His glory but if there is a unwillingness to share in His suffering, this can work against heirship! (interesting sidenote-M Henry said of Rom 8:17 "In earthly inheritances this rule does not hold, only the first-born are heirs; but the church is a church of first-born, for they are all heirs.") |
