1 | Any help on their on nine manger nails? | Bible general Archive 1 | roark89 | 70202
I'm preparing a lesson on the manger nails. It relates to nine prophecies in the old Testament and nine fullfillments in the New Testament that shows the legitamacy of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. However I'm searching for any biblical evidence of the significance of nine nails for the manger and the cross. Help. |

2 | Thank you for those who responded. | Psalm | roark89 | 59037
Thank you for your response. It affirmed what I felt God had placed in my heart. Never never was Jesus about money. Jesus is God, He doesn't need it. However his sacrifice deserves our sacrifice (whatever it may be ) time money etc...as long as we give cheerfully. (2 Cor. 9) May the Lord bless those who responded. I thank God for this site.
3 | Was Jesus rich (financially)? | 2 Cor 8:1 | roark89 | 59004
2 Corinthians 8:9 Paul is urging the church to give. He says Jesus was rich and became poor. It appears Paul is talking about finances here I don't know my Gospels cover to cover but when I read about Jesus I never get the sense he was ever fiscally rich. What do you think on this issue. Can we believe that Paul is talking about spirituality combined with Blessings that came from God and allowed Jesus and his desciples to be provided for as they traveled from place to place? Bottom line....Before crucifying and resurrection, how well off was Jesus and where how do we know? |
