2 | Ultimate Truth | Rom 1:27 | ptgard05 | 116546
Ok bradK....are you supposing that there is no truth to be found anywhere outside of the Bible? Of course there are truths outside of the Bible, the Bible is the Ultimate Truth, but there are others outside. Such as mathmatical theorms and postulates....they are true. Also, in medical science there are some true things. So, don't say that the Bible is the ONLY truth, b/c its not, it is the ULTIMATE truth, but not the only.
3 | analogies | Rom 1:27 | ptgard05 | 116544
Hank: ok- good analogies with the adulterer, the smoker, the alcoholic, and the kleptomaniac-- but you are forgetting one important thing... these are just four people- gays make up about 15 percent of America....how many kleptomaniacs are there? Not nearly as many. The figure isn't even in the same ballpark. Also, I truly believe in God and His Providence, but i also believe that some (not all, as some do it to rebel and as a shock tactic) homosexuals are born that way-- i will try to find those medical researches again |

6 | There are studies | Rom 1:27 | ptgard05 | 116476
What is the difference b/t the Natural Law and the Mosaic Law. And yes there are many studies to prove this....some include: In gay people's brains the amygdala (connects the two parts of the brain and is the trigger for emotions and reflexes) is different than that in a straight person's brain. Also, there are only three bones in a person's body that do not grow after birth. These are the hammer, anvil, and the stirrup in your ear. These bones are larger in a homosexual's body than in a straight's body. There is another study that proves that different sections of the brain are different sizes in homosexual's brains than that of a straight person's body. |

7 | i do believe..but this troubles me | Rom 1:27 | ptgard05 | 116468
I do believe with all my heart, strength, soul, and mind that the Bible is the ultimate truth and that Jesus died for all of our sins. I also believe (after searching and finding many medical studies to prove it) that homosexuals are born that way and not predisposed. But, the Bible does mention homosexuals- it even condemns them i think......how could God make a person a homosexual and then condemn them for the way that they were born? This is troubling me.
8 | not applied to everyone | Rom 1:27 | ptgard05 | 116454
Yes, the Lord did tell Adam and Eve to multiply and be fruitful, but that does not mean that it applies to everyone. If I tell my friend Jim to go buy me some milk (just for the sake of argument) and I tell him he can keep the change, does that mean that everybody in the whole world has to buy me some milk? No. I told Jim to do something, and I blessed him (with the change) but it does not apply to everyone.
9 | Now vs. Paul's day- lust and Romans | Rom 1:27 | ptgard05 | 116408
Lust was not the same in Biblical times as it is now. Now we think of lust as purely a sexual downfall, but I have read this this is not what it was supposed to mean in Paul's day and time. So, does this verse condemn homosexuality? Or does it condemn lusting over another man's possesions? Please help me.
