1 | Did Daniel bow when the 3 did not? | Daniel | morleyde | 228983
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were the only people who didn't bow. But Daniel was around during that time along with Jeremiah, Zachariah and Habakkuk. Did they bow, were they not around, did know one notice they didn't bow. I am sure there is a good explanation and I am hoping someone will share it with me. Thanks, Joe |

2 | List of I AM's in the Bible | Ex 3:14 | morleyde | 193009
How do I find all of the places in the Bible were God refers to himself as "I AM"? I tired using the Get Bible Text on this site but I couldn't get it to give me just the I AM's. Please give me detailed instructions on how to get a list of the I AM's from this web site. My purpose is to get a list of all of the times in the OT and NT that God refers to himself as the I AM. Thanks in advance, Joe |

3 | Womens Hair in the OT | Song 4:1 | morleyde | 189778
Does anyone know of anything in the Bible that refers to womens hair in the OT. I am puzzled that the OT has so many restrictions and commandments for so many things but womens hair is never mentioned. Wasn't there ever any women in the OT who cut her hair off, or a man who had long hair like a women? Does anyone know of a respected source that has looked into this? There are commandments in the OT about the type of cloth you can wear, and other seemingly very minor things, but nothing about hair.
4 | Ex 30:23 kaneh bosm is cannabis? | Ex 30:23 | morleyde | 183000
Ex 30:23 Moses is instructed to make a holy ointment. One of the ingredients is sweet calamus or in hebrew kaneh bosm, which means fragrant reed or hemp. Some use this verse to justify cannabis use. I do not. What is the meaning of kaneh bosm? Is it cannabis? Is it just the flower that was used to make an aromatic ointment? Thanks, Joe |

7 | Follow up on 1 Cor. chp 11 vs 1-16 | Rom 14:13 | morleyde | 107554
I agree with you JCrichton, and I am referring to verses 1 thru 16 of 1 Cor. I realize that Paul is not trying to create a new law (man must have short hair and women must have long hair), but I also can't help but conclude that he is showing us an area that we should be mindful of. Isn't he saying that men should look like men, and women should look like women? We can do this by maintaining the common standard (both to the apostles and chuches at the time, and even to this day to some extent in our pluralistic society)of men having short hair and women having long. Because verse 16 makes it clear that it is not just a standard or common practice of the corinthian church. Isn't the intent of 1 Cor. chp 11 v 1-16 to teach us to be proper men and women by looking like whatever gender we are? Does it not matter at all to God if a man has long hair, or a women has short hair? |

8 | All the apostles and churches did v.16 | Rom 14:13 | morleyde | 107533
Dear FinalSQL, In verse 16 of 1 Cor.11 it says that all the apostles and Churches follow this practice (of women having long hair and men having short hair). Isn't this in keeping with the biblical principal of distinstions between the sexes? |

10 | Does 1 Cor. 11 apply to us today? | Rom 14:13 | morleyde | 107525
In chpter 11 of 1 Cor. it seems to be saying that women should have long hair and men should have short hair. Does this apply to us today? Does the chapter apply only to the Corinthian Church?
