2 | Was it just the money? | Luke 23:43 | jcdm327 | 172160
I believe that Judas did repent. He returned the money, and confessed that he had betrayed an innocent man. Judas committed suicide. Peter denied Jesus, and ran. Judas' confession is interesting. He said Jesus was innocent, but not Lord.Hmmm. What did he think before? What crime did Judas believe Jesus was guilty? Judas betrayed Jesus for a reason. Was it just the money? Hmm. Not to mention that Judas was stealing money from the group. I don't guess Judas ever knew Jesus as the Savior from sins. Did Judas ever submit to the Lordship of Jesus? Either way, God's judgement is righteous. |

3 | Jesus told disciples take a sword ? | Luke 22:36 | jcdm327 | 172115
Why did Jesus tell his disciples to take a sword, then rebuke Peter for using a sword? I understand Jesus' rebuke. My query is directed towards the having a sword. There is no Biblical evidence that the disciples needed a sword. Besides Peter, non of the followers ever used a sword.
