1 | complications caused by sex | Ex 22:16 | case_00 | 105790
Thanks justme. You did a much better job of developing my thoughts than I did. Sometimes people (who aren't anything close to being ideal for each other) get into a dating situation and end up having sex. That's wrong that it happens, but could marriage possibly be another wrong for the couple (2 wrongs don't make a right)? I guess that the Bible doesn't go into much detail about this, but that's mainly why I'm asking. What scriptural wisdom can be applied to these kinds of situations? Thanks, Ryan |

2 | Government punishes the bad, not good? | Rom 13:3 | case_00 | 105787
Thanks for your response, but my question was that it seems that Paul was not accurate in his description of Government (I know he wasn't, but I don't understand how he wasn't). He says that Government punishes those who do bad and doesn't punish those who do good. But we do know that the government did persecute those who did good. How is this resolved without contradiction?
3 | sex leading to marriage? | Ex 22:16 | case_00 | 105756
Thanks for your responses Makarios and Searcher. I have another question about his one though. Do you think that today a couple who was "Christian" but didn't value sex, (possibly with multiple partners) should then be expected to marry their partner? Could you also answer the question when applied to a couple who didn't really get along, but ended up getting pregnant? Do you think the two should then be expected to get married? |

4 | government persecution? | Rom 13:3 | case_00 | 105725
In Romans 13, Paul says that the government doesn’t punish the good, but many Christians were persecuted by Rome. How is this resolved? Thanks, Ryan |

How does His grief almost kill him? Thanks. Ryan |

6 | Moses and the face of God | Ex 33:11 | case_00 | 105723
Moses talks to God face to face. But then how come in Ex. 33:20, God says that he couldn't live if he saw his face? Thanks. Ryan |

7 | enjoy yourself while you're alive | Deut 20:6 | case_00 | 105720
Hi, Why does he say to enjoy your vineyard before you go to battle in case you die? It sounds like "eat and drink, for tomorrow we die." Or, make sure to enjoy yourself while you're alive. Ryan |

8 | Don't eat meat torn by animals | Ex 22:31 | case_00 | 105719
How come God didn't want the Israelites to eat unclean food? I've heard that unclean food isn't as healthy. But what about meat torn by animals? The only reason I can think of is that there might be diseases or bacteria in the meat if an animal tore it apart.
9 | lying with someone is a commitment | Ex 22:16 | case_00 | 105718
Obviously the marriage is expected to be a way of showing respect for the man or woman (instead of using others by sleeping with them and leaving). Do you think that this principle would still apply today in any way (that you should marry someone that you get caught sleeping with)? Ryan |

10 | Ezekiel and symbolism? | Ezek 20:49 | case_00 | 105717
Hi, is Ezekiel upset because people are assuming his words are symbolic? Do you think that Moses would be surprised if he found out that people sometimes say that the creation stories are symbolic? Let me know what you think. Ryan |

Hi, does anyone know what hoarfrost is and how fine it is? Thanks! Ryan |
