1 | What order is in Greek for Matt.21:29 | Matt 21:29 | William R. Hartley | 107009
I admit I am still confused. I guess I need to make a disclaimer to my First Edition Reference edition and my regular NASV that I use from the pulpit when I come to this passage or pull the reference from Biblegateway.com for powerpoint, and have it read opposite from what I have. My question is regarding earlier printings and the later printings and why the change occured to make it look like the earlier ones were in error. My Interlinear must be an earlier one than the Tyndale one you have referred to. But what is it in the Greek? |

2 | Which version of the NASV is correct | Matt 21:29 | William R. Hartley | 106942
Why do the earlier versions of the NASV and the Greek Interlinear read the same and the newer versions of the NASV differ...as quoted above? I quote from the NASV Lockman Foundation 1960-1971 First Edition...Matthew 21:29 "And he answered and said I will, sir and he did not go" . This is followed by verse 31 " 'Which of the two did the will of the father?' they said, 'The latter'" why the change when it agrees with the interlinear of Alfred Marshall 1967. Thanks for the input |
