2 | Why e-mail. | Gen 1:1 | Raymondo | 14971
Why e-mail? What do you have to tell me that you don't want anyone else to see? Do you have something to hide? Also, why do you insist on seaching out all of my questions and simply putting a period after them? |

7 | Dear Nicodemus: | Gen 1:1 | Raymondo | 14478
Nicodemus: I must tell you that I was somewhat saddened by your response and final admonition that this forum isn't the place for my question and that I was in fact out of line in some fashion. 1)I am very sorry if I offended you by shortening your "screen name". As far as your discourse including capitalizing words and telling me I don't have permission or license to shorten your "nick"name whatsoever, a simple, please use my full name would have been more than sufficient. 2) Back to my question. I really don't think that looking at new logical possibilities is dwelling on speculation. First you said Cain must have married his sister. Then you now say that it is of your OPINION that he did and "and anything MORE about who Cain married or didn't marry is purely speculation!!" I would like to ask you why you feel this way? 3)You stated: "This Forum is not a place for Speculation. It is here for the Purpose of Bible Study. If the answer cannot be found in the Bible, then we should not dwell on the question." If you have no interest in the topic, why take the time to post and chastise others that do? 4) The niece possibilty is something new that I have learned from this forum and wanted some other input. I am not bringing it up to be redundent or argumentative; honestly. It is really a very simple question. Isn't it possible that rather than having to be a sister and only a sister, it could have been his niece? Contrary to what you have stated, I believe this question can be examined in light of scripture. |

8 | For Nick - Niece possible or not?? | Gen 1:1 | Raymondo | 14091
Nick: you say that Cain MUST have married his sister. Is there any reason why you would discount the possibility that it may have been his niece? I'm nat saying it was his niece or had to be his niece. I had always believed it had to be his sister, given the information available to us. However, someone on this forum has pointed out that it may have been his niece and it seems to me that people here are not willing to address that possibility.

11 | For Peches | Bible general Archive 1 | Raymondo | 13990
Peches: could you explain what you mean by "God's was created from this beatiful....." I'm not sure if there was a typo or if just missed your meaning. Thanks!
12 | Possibly a niece? | Gen 1:1 | Raymondo | 13480
For Cain to marry his niece, it would mean a younger brother married off and having grown children before Cain married. This is the only way I can think of for him to marry a niece and not a sister. Is this what you are saying is a possibility?
13 | Niece? | Gen 1:1 | Raymondo | 13172
I think I'm confused. Are you saying that a younger brother had children before Cain did?
14 | Cain was first? | Gen 1:1 | Raymondo | 12868
Mark said: "Adam and Eve's descendants may have been very numerous and widely dispersed before Cain even took a wife-that is, any inhabitants of the land of Nod would have been descendants of Adam and Eve." I may be wrong but I thought Cain was their first son. The above statement seems to imply possibly not. |

15 | Figurative vrs literal language? | Bible general Archive 1 | Raymondo | 12870
Quote from a friend: """My opinion also stands that one (Christian) must take the bible 100 percent literally, or 100 percent figuratively. There can be no in between. If one reads a part that does not make sense to them, it is up for interpretation. But if one believes so earnestly in God, then how can he deny that the Bible is God's word and law? Yet they go on to say, this or that certain verse is not meant to be taken literally. Would that not be questioning God's word? How does anyone know which part is literal and which is not?""" I am at somewhat of a loss and am wondering if there is someone out there that can help me with a clear answer. |

16 | When was Adam created? | Bible general Archive 1 | Raymondo | 11206
How long ago did God create Adam and Eve? Is there a study or a paper of sorts to support your answer? I'm thinking I've heard 6000 to 7000 years ago but have no way to verify that. Thanks in advance.
