What was the significance of Jesus folding His Kerchief or facecloth? I have heard that it because it was according to Hebrew custom when eating a meal. When the Master of the meal was finished he tossed his napkin on the table to indicate that he was finished so the servants could eat. If he planned to return, he folded his napkin. Does anyone have any other suggestions or can they validate this explanation? | ||||||

Is there a Numerical significance in 6 for this verse? Was there a reason there were SIX cities of refuge. Can someone clarify what exactly the cities were for? I believe I understand, but I would appreciate a simple clarification. |

I am looking for the best resource on manners and customs to have available for my teaching. I wish to be accurate in all I say and do. Presently the study is in Mark and on the fishermen or disciples. I wanted to know their regular routine, perhaps what their family life was like if they were marrried, etc. What did it actually cost them to follow Jesus? Does anyone have a recommendation? | ||||||
