Thank You for your response, I will give Robert a call to see if they answer. The question still remains open though... How do I defend the word? My leading to Christ has always been my Mother (Whom I never listened to)... in 2005 I read a book by Wallace D. Wattles "Science of Getting Rich" in the book he describes God, and since I was raised in a christian home I translated that he meant God in Heaven. He explains that we can ask for anything from our Heavenly Father as long as we believe he will provide. It was this asking of God to provide me with a wife... so, thats where I am at. At the moment I feel as if I am Jona trapped in the whale. As for my salvation... I belive Jesus came and died for my sins and that he sits at the right hand of God and is comming soon according to scripture, which of recently has me reading constantly. My prayers are that my wife is saved along with her family. I got work to do! God Bless! |

I'm totally be-daffelled! I am married to a German woman living in Germany... I just discussed with her and her family about the topic of God creating the world in seven days. They are saying that the words in the bible are only suggestions, -in short-. That God created the world in seven days--- it only mans comments. That no-one really knows. Huh? What is all this? I have learned that the bible is the word of God. Why would God give a suggestion? Boy does this open a can of worms... So what I am saying is how I defend the bible's teachings that state God created the world in SEVEN Days or six and on the seven he rested. |
