1 | Christ the Goal or the end of the Law? | Rom 10:4 | Magnum | 176324
Why in this passage is the word "telos"(5056 strongs) translated as end? When I look this up in Strongs if find the following defintion;to set out for a definite point or goal.prop. the point aimed at. So should this not say instead, The goal at which the "Law" aims is Christ, who offers righteousnes to everyone who trusts. It would seem to me that Christ is the goal of the "Law" not the end, just a question.
2 | Why did Paul sacrifice in Temple? | Rom 14:20 | Magnum | 34271
I have read on occasion postings on this forum that New Testament believers are no longer under any obligation to keep or observe the Law or more correctly the Torah (teaching and instruction of G-d), why then did Paul go to the Temple with four new converts, pay their expenses related to their purification (Leviticus 14:9-20)if Torah is no longer to be observed or kept by NT believers. Paul continued to keep the Torah and never wrote or taught anything to the contrary. See Acts 21:24 and Acts 21:26-28
