1 | What about the other verses on salvation | Rom 10:9 | LovestheLord | 72546
What about the other verses on salvation? Aren't you leaving some things out. Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. Acts 2:39 Repent and be baptized EVERY ONE OF YOU, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Believe, repent, confess Christ and be baptized. Thanks for your input. |

2 | Isn't Baptism neccessary for salvation?? | Rom 10:9 | LovestheLord | 72538
If the Bible says Baptism is essential to salvation, then why do some believe that Baptism is not neccessary for salvation? Scripture references: Mark 16:16- Jesus said: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved". Acts 2:38- Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Luke 3:21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened up - and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from Heaven. "You are My Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased". I don't want to leave anything out of what Jesus said to do and all the examples of people in the Bible that were baptized, for remission of sins and salvation. Thank you for your responses on this matter. |
