1 | Parental Alienation and Deuteronomy 28 | Bible general Archive 1 | LimeJuice | 39954 | ||
Greetings this is my first time here; I am happy to be here. My question is really more of a meditation on Deuteronomy 28 and a revelation that I had this morning. It has to do with parental alienation, which occurs, sadly, to more people in today's world due to divorce. My son and I are victims (survivors?) or parental alienation. My ex speaks so badly about me when my son is with him, that when he arrives back at my home, he is extremely confused, angry, and hurt. I say this not to speak badly about my ex, but to explain the problem. God is so good. This morning, I had a revelation about Deuteronomy 28 "you are blessed when you go out, and blessed when you come in." My son is a christian, and I understand that we are under the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 because of Jesus Christ. Therefore my revelation is that, in reality, my son is blessed when he leaves and blessed when he returns. I can't wait to share this with my son. I want the word to soak into his life, until the peace of it becomes reality for him. I am going to pray this over our situation, which, believe me, is extreme. Yet God is more powerful than any evil Satan can throw at us. I am so thankful for this revelation this morning, and wanted to share it with anyone else who might be going through something similar. If anyone would like to share any other similar experiences and any scriptures that have helped, I would be most interested to hear about them. Yours in Christ Jesus, by His Stripes we are healed!
