1 | Did David Read the Book of Job? | Ps 8:4 | Ladyborg | 225747
Job 7:17 is reminiscent of Psalm 8:4 and 144:3 (both written by David). It is surmised that Job is the oldest book in the Bible in that it was probably written before the Law of Moses (thus way before David). I wondered if David had any access to the book of Job, since the Psamls were obviously written much later. |

2 | Eze 39:2 ver. omit # of enemy survivors | Ezek 39:2 | Ladyborg | 160716
I am curious. Eze. 39:2 talks of a future attack on Israel by their enemies, a coalition of Russian and Arabs. The KJV makes mention of the exact number of Israel's enemies which will survive the attack.....a mere 1 in 6!!! KJV: "And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel" Why do other versions (I use mainly the NASB) omit this VEEEEEEEERY important fact?????????????? |

3 | Luke 3:33 Genealogy quandry | Luke 3:33 | Ladyborg | 159165
Why does the NASB and Amplified both include "son of Admin" in the genealogy listed in Luke 3:33, but other versions do not? This would make Ram the grandfather of Amminadab, rather than his father. Examples: NIV the son of Amminadab, the son of Ram, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez, KJV Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda, ASV the son of Amminadab, the son of Arni, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez, the son of Judah, Compared to Matt 1:4 (NASB) Ram was the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon. And Ruth 4:19 (NASB) and to Hezron was born Ram, and to Ram, Amminadab |
