1 | Is there conflict between Paul and Matt? | 2 Tim 3:16 | Jajula | 78098
Hello. There was some debate in past Jabob vs. Paul case. But anybody notice that (also) Matthew is many times against Paul Theological opinions. Most scholars think that Gospel of Matthew was written after Paul letters and it is written in Jerusalem, where it holds Jewish Christian insight. Few Examples.. where we find without doubt conflict between Matthew and Paul. Jesus teaches in his famous Sermon of Mount: Matt. 5:18 (KJV) For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Paul teaches that Christ is end of law. But Jesus said, that until heaven and earth passaway, law will not passway. We all know that heaven and earth is not yet passed away. So, is Paul theology terrible wrong here? Matt 5:19 (KJV) Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Paul mainly thought, that we don't need anymore keep the Mosaic laws and teach them. But Jesus clearly teaches that we must teach even least commanments to the people. Jesus confirm this in next passages: Matt 23:1-3 (KJV) Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, [that] observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. Matt 23:23 (KJV) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Matt 28:20 (KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. |

2 | Ruth the Moabite and David? | Is 56:3 | Jajula | 75203
Shalom! I have searching answer to this question. I cannot understand these passages, if you have idea, i am very pleased. Deuteronomy 23:2 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever: Ruth 1:3-4 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons. And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years. Later... Ruth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth (Moabite), and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. Ruth 4:17 .. and they called his name Obed: he the father of Jesse, the father of David. My question is: How David could be King of Israel, because He was descendant of Ruth the Moabite? And Moabite cannot be part of God gongregation and their descendant also (David) cannot be EVER!! Ok, Ruth convert but she still cannot be part of congregation even to their tenth generation. David was descendant of Moabite, so he cannot be part of Gongregation, because he was three generations after Ruth the Moabite. And http://www.messiahtruth.com/descent.html tells that whosoever is born to a daughter of Israel shall be considered a child of Israel." So mother tells, is child jewish or not. Obed, Ruth son was not Jewish. Ezra 10:3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law. (KJV) Hashem wants the Jews to do what the Torah says. If the father determines whether or not the child is Jewish, what sense does it make to send Jewish children away from the Jewish people, where those children will be taught how to properly fulfill their responsibilities? Now, if Jewish descent is passed on through the mother, then this passage makes complete sense. Deuteronomy 23:2 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever: |
