1 | Engaged in God's eyes? | Luke 1:27 | Evening Starlight | 143921
ok....i know i'm a youngin' but i'm trying to figure this out... ok...so marriage is a covenent with God, so therefore it is through God that man and wife are joined...spiritually, physically, mentally, in all ways they become one... and i know that God and the Law are at one, (i'm saving myself for marriage, so noone needs to freak out on me) but my question is, can two people be engaged in God's eyes, even if not "technically" engaged in human terms? any ideas and/or scripture would be wonderful... May the road rise up to meet you, Evening Starlight |

2 | Scripture supporting Sprinkling/Immersio | Rom 6:1 | Evening Starlight | 143451
thanks...but that doesn't really answer my inquiry...is there any scripture that directly says whether baptism by sprinkling or immersion is "better", i only ask so that i may help my friend understand that God's grace is all that's necessary to be saved but i need to somehow counter his point about baptism to help him see this. Thanks
3 | Sprinkling vs. Immersion | Rom 6:1 | Evening Starlight | 143447
I was baptized this past summer by sprinkling...and i know that baptism is basically a outward manifestation of faith...yet one of my close friends believes that it only "counts" if it is by immersion and not sprinkling....any comments or scripture would be greatly appreciated...
