Reposting for Justme. Please do not answer. This is a Praise The Lord from Mrs. Justme and Justme!! Today Friday July 23, 2004 the Cat Scan showed NO Blood Clots whatsoever in my lungs! The doctors and nurses were saying this is a Miracle if ever there was one! Please thank the Lord with me. Thank each of you for remembering me in prayer. Frankly I am stunned, and awe struck at the Lord's great love. I am framing the two Cat Scan reports side by side for everyone to see that this is a genuine MIRACLE from God! We were told to make funeral plans on June 18, and now there are no clots whatsoever. Dear Friends I am so blessed and thankful! PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THIS FOR A FEW DAYS Thank you, justme and Family. |

4 | Prayer request, | Bible general Archive 2 | Emmaus | 125076
Reposting Justme's post which he aksed no be responded to so it would stay up. PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THIS, I AM POSTING IT AS A PRAYER REQUEST. I would like it to stay for a awhile please.:-) I have many large blood clots in my right leg, that have gone to both lungs. This is a critical and dangerous condition. The prognosis is grim from a medical stand point. The doctors are amazed I am not in great pain and I can breath with good oxygen saturation. Everyone is stumped as to how I have made it thus far. The next 90 days either will take me home to be with the Lord or I will begin to improve. I request specifically that you to pray for me to be in the Father's direct will for my life, and for my family. Blessings to all the Forum for you have been a rich blessing in my life! I am at peace, and rest in Jesus Christ. I have known Jesus Christ as Lord from the age of 9. My favorite Scripture is Psalm 139. justme (Mike) |

5 | Pete, What or who do you worship? | Luke 17:3 | Emmaus | 121010
Pete, The root word of culture is cult. Culture is rooted in what people worship. Our culture currently worships something other than God. It find it interesting that you say "we" are loosing the culture war. That presumes a common cult. But do "we" really have a common cult? What or who do you worship? Emmaus |

6 | Why such one sided skepticism? | Rom 1:27 | Emmaus | 116671
ptgard, Why do you seem to accept unquestioningly what you are told by your relative and the other people and things you have read and referred to, but respond in Scripture with doubts and skepticism? The dilema you face is that either the Scripture is wrong or your other sources are wrong. Why do you seem to be accepting of one side and skeptical of the other? Shouldn't you approach both with equal skepticism until you are sure which is correct? Emmaus |

14 | Holy Spirit, an impersonal force? | Bible general Archive 1 | Emmaus | 82025
Bern, "Holy Spirit is constantly shown to be a power or force that the Father controls." If that is so, why is the Holy Spirit referred to as "he" and "him" in John 16:7-8 and 16:13-14? How could he, if merely an impersonal active force, bear witness John 15:26; feel hurt Isaiah 63:10; be blasphemed against Mark 3:29; say things Ezek 3:24, Acts 8:29, 10:19, 11:12, 21:11, Heb 10:15-17, Rev 2:7; desire Gal 5;17; be outraged Heb 10:29; search 1Cor 2:10; comfort Acts 9:31; love Rom 15:30; refer to himself as "me" Acts 13:2; be lied to and be God Acts 5:3-4? By the way, the Trinity is not a "triad" of three gods, but a Tri-unity of one God. Emmaus |

20 | Nazarene equals Nazirite? | Rev 1:12 | Emmaus | 79147
RC, "I sense alot of hostility in you, I hope you come to realize that your spelling is incorrect, nazirite is spelled( Nazarite ). A Nazarite is from Nazareth, which makes Christ Jesus a Nazarene!!" What hostility, merely asking a question? A person can be a Nazarene from Nazareth with out being a Nazirite ( this may be a word with to optional spellings, my dictionary has it, nazirite. What is the scriptural basis of your assertion that Jesus took a Nazirite vow? It seems a stretch to assert that because one is a Nazarene (from Narareth) that one has taken a Nazirite vow. Do you believe that all Nazarenes were also Nazirites? Maybe someone else like Tim Moran could put in a word on this subjct. Emmaus |
