1 | is the typeology correct? | Bible general Archive 3 | Chusarcik | 165437
On word4life.com, I read that the cup bearer and baker in Genesis fourty are pictures of Christ.Jesus said He was the bread of life (John 6:35). He said He was the vine branch (John 15:1). On the night of his betrayal, he gave them wine, telling them it represented his blood that was going to be shed for you (Luke 22:20) and the bread that was going to be broken (I Corinthians 11:24). He asked them to do this in remembrance of Him. As we saw that in three days the wine taster would be given life and the baker would have his life taken. We see that picture of how Jesus would die and on the third day He would rise again. Is the above typeology accurate? Chusarcik |

2 | Question about nations of the world | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 124541
From www.zionministry.com I reviewed a chart called Nations of the World that chronicles the descendents of the sons of Noah. This chart shows the European nations such as France, Germany,Sweden, etc. coming from the line of Shem, the son from whom the Israelites come. From www.freemaninstitue.com, it states the same European nations descended from Japeth, the oldest son. My Bible study group is confused by this conflicting information. Which one is correct? 3 | Can anyone answer the original question? | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 124546
Country Girl, It is important to me because the Bible very carefully lists geneology in Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible and the promises and covenents made to each of the sons of Adam. I believe it is important to study all information given in God's word to know him more thouroughly. If we were not to carefully ponder His word why would he give it to us? We have in our Bible group members of many different nationalities and back grounds (my own includes Native American, for example) and there is absolutely no intent to develop prejudice against anyone, just to try to understand God's word as set forth in the Bible. Perhaps the Bible does not give us enough information to know the correct answer and if that is so that is fine, but I've come across conflicting information as stated in my original question and wonder if anyone can answer the question? I'm asking this question again because I didn't get an answer when I asked the other day. Chusarcik And a note to Country Girl who responded the other day but did not answer the question: Country Girl, Thanks for responding and to answer your question: The answer to my original question is important to me because the Bible very carefully lists geneology in Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible and the promises and covenents made to each of the sons of Adam. 5 | Currancy used by Israel | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 135339
I recently discovered that Israel still uses the shekel for currancy. Are there any other countries that have used the same currancy as long as Israel and how long has Israel used the shekel? Chusarcik |

8 | purpose of allegories | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 137633
Why does the Buble often use allegories rather than presenting information directly? |

9 | I'll try to make my question more clear | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 137691
Boy, This really got off on the wrong track. I believe events described in the Bible are reality, one hundered percent.I'm not trying to debate that and that's not what I meant by the question. Let me try to make it more clear. As all Bible scholars would agree, information in scripture is often presented in an allegorical fashion, such as Jesus using parables to teach a lesson, rather than just stating the purpose out straight. Much other information in the Bible is also allegorical, such as the picture of a bride representing God's people and the groomm representing Christ. My question is this: "Why does God choose to present information in scripture through the use of allegory?" I'd like some feedback I can share with my Bible study group. Thanks, Carrie Husarcik |

10 | Why is history repeated in Genesis? | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 143429
Stories with the same themes are repeated many times in the Bible, but with different characters. Some examples in Genesis are the cases of 3 different barren wives, Sarah, Rebekah and Rachel. Also sibling rivalry between a good and evil brother, Cane and Abel, Isaac and Ishmael, Jacob and Esau. Another example is patriarchs passing their wives off as sisters when passing through a pagan town. What is the purpose of the repeated stories with different characters?

13 | Don't have those tools-need more info | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 69436
That doesn't help because I don't have any of these. I have a few maps in my Bible and I've tried to do that but they're so tiny I had a hard time looking at today's map and calculating exactly where each of these would be today. Anyway, I'm not sure I'm coming up with the right information and do not want to learn it incorrectly. Cany anyone answer my original question with the exact locations or tell me of a website that clearly shows this information? Thanks, Chusarcik
14 | Is this information correct? | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 69451
Thanks, I just tried that and it looks like Babylon was in Iraq, the Persian empire was in Iran, Greek Macedonia was in Jordan and I can't figure out what all the pagan Roman empire covered. Can someone confirm whether this is right and provide corrections if needed and the location of the Roman empire? I'm sorry to keep asking, but I don't want to get this wrong and the maps I keep searching are too close up or far away for me to be sure I'm matching everything up correctly. Thanks, Chusarcik
15 | Clarification of entering the temple | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 71709
In Revelation 15:8 it says no one can enter the temple until the seven plagues are complete. Does this mean no one can enter heaven at all until then or is the temple just a part of heaven that cannot be entered until then?
16 | Need more clarification | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 71760
Does it mean no one can enter into Heaven at all during this time or only that they cannot enter the temple that is in Heaven? What I'm unclear about is whether the temple means all of Heaven or if the temple is a specific part of Heaven that cannot be entered during the last 7 plagues. Are some people already in Heaven at this time and no others can enter during the last 7 plagues? I think this is what you meant by there is a time when the wicked can no longer be saved. Please clarify. Chusarcik Thanks,Chusarcik |

17 | That helps and now another question | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 71767
Thankyou for your response. This helps clarify my question about whether the temple in heaven is all of heaven. Regarding the second part of your answer that no one has gone to Heaven I thought that to be absent in the body was to be present with Christ according to the Bible. Where do Christians temporarily go while waiting for their glorified bodies if not Heaven? There's probably an obvious answer but I haven't studied the subject that much. Are you a messianic Jew? Thankyou for your help. Chusarcik |

18 | Heaven be entered during bowl judgments? | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 72576
Revelation 15:8 says no one can enter the temple in heaven until the seven plagues of the seven bowl plagues are finished. Does this mean no human can enter heaven at all during this time and if so, why? And if no human can enter heaven does it mean they have not ever entered heaven and will not until the 7 plagues are done or only that they cannot enter during the time the 7 plagues are poured out? I asked a similar question last week and in reviewing the answers am becoming more confused by this. Can anyone shed some light on this topic?
19 | Making sure I understand your meaning | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 72640
Are you saying that in general, throughout history no one has entered into heaven and will be able to after Jesus' 2nd coming. About Jesus no longer petitioning for man during the 7 plagues, if this is the case, why does it state in plagues 4 and 5 that the people still wouldn't repent, as if they are still able to repent? Would you let me know if I'm understanding your info correctly? Thankyou very much for your help, Chusarcik
20 | Need more clarification | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 72772
I think Reve chp 22 verse 11 means that people have a choice in following good or evil. Hebrews 12:17 doesn't say Esau is not forgiven. It says he couldn't get his blessing back and would suffer the consequences of that choice. Genesis 6:3 says God will only contend with man during his lifetime on earth, in otherwords you must choose while on earth. So none of these seem to say God sometimes does not forgive truly repentent people. Anyway, back to my original question, what I'm really trying to find out, is why no one can enter heaven until the bowl judgments in Rev. chp 15 and 16 are completed. Can anyone directly and clearly explain what that means and answer that specific question? Chusarcik |
