1 | why did Daniel want 240 Hebrew foreskins | 1 Sam 18:27 | h2osquirtter | 175505
In a sermon last week, our pastor mentioned Daniel and the fact that as a bride price he required 240 Hebrew foreskins. Why?? What could the purpose have been and what could he have done with them? I don't remember the passage that this was pulled from. Can anyone help me with this question? God's blessings.

Greetings! The passage you are looking for is 1 Sam. 18:27. It was David, not Daniel. Saul set the bridal price for two reasons. First of all, Saul thought that David would fail and die. Secondly, the taking of foreskins was a sign of might as a warrior. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
